That would be £51pm plus whatever line rental is for new customers.0

The only way he can upgrade Sky TV to HD now is to switch to the Entertainment Extra Plus pack (which costs £32 a month, undiscounted, and involves a new 12 month minimum term). To that, he’d need to add the Sports (£22 a month, undiscounted) and a further £5.25 a month, undiscounted) if he wants the Sports in HD. Undiscounted, that lot comes to £59.25 a month (£711 a year)
Upgrading from SD to HD should bring the offer of a Sky+HD box. If given the option, push for a 2 TB box, even if it costs more. The storage space on a standard HD box is pathetic.
Then throw the Broadband and ‘Phone into the mix and negotiate a total price.Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance

Just given my notice to sky today. Instantly offered 50% off with no monthly tie in.
Turned it down.
I'm just coming out of a 75% off deal. Which is what i'm after again. I'll have to wait and see what they ring back with.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Same here, got offered 10% off first time i called, decided to to still leave. Got a call from sky 2 days later and offered 50% off as i told them i only watch basic package channels and virgin is cheaper atm, so got offered entertainment pack for £10.50 for 12 months with no contract.
How did you manage to get 75% off? Might try it next time in few months0 -
Phoned sky on saturday morning. I'm currently paying £55 a month for TV (Sports and HD) have told them i would like to cancel as the price is just too much for us right now. Was instantly offered a new deal of £47 a month (after the price rise so its effectively a £10 a month offer) We were also offered a new HD box as our one is from 2009. That however would require a 12month commitment.
I may just cancel and see if i can get a further reduction. I'm not sure we'll stay at that price.0 -
I had heard of the 75% deal going round so told them that's what i wanted. Not sure if i'll get it again.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

My BIL had 75% and I think they only offered that to people who had been sky free for a year, but I could be wrong.0 -
I got an email from Sky for a survey asking "Where we went wrong" due to go off at end of month and no phone calls as yet.0
