Did you decide to go with these in the end? I sent them my phones last week and am waiting on payment now...

Yay!! Just got my payment - full amount as quoted on the site, and no problems! :):):)
  • Top quality service for me. Paid me £13 more than Envirophone or Mazuma for my old Samsung and money was in my bank account within 6 days of receiving my phone. Will definitely use them again :j

Just quickly bringing up an old thread but I wanted to say that these guys have been excellent for me. I have sent 4 mobiles to them and each time they paid more money than anyone else and paid me quickly, I used their bank transfer option rather than cheque. I use to use fonebank but top dollar just pays more than anyone else I have found.

I know this sounds a bit spammy but it's not, I have used them and I'm not connected, just happy with a very good service!
  • Hi

I read the feedback on here as was also concerned about sending my phones, but went ahead and risked it. Have to say it took 7 days from them receiving my phone to paying out but it went straight into my account (posted 3 phones) for over £20 more then what Mazumma were wanting to pay me.

So yeah..go ahead..Top Dollar mobile sure seems to be the best payer at the moment!
  • Im about to use them! So fingers crossed! :)

  • There is a reputable chain that i visit regularly. They buy items from people that are no longer wanted. Recently they have had a spate of people selling mobile phones to them, and then the person ringing up the network and reporting the phone lost/stolen to claim for a new phone. This has meant many phones bought by customers have been returned to the shop non working because they have been blocked. Obviously the company is losing a lot of money because of this, but can not afford to stop accepting mobile phones. The company send all of their blocked phones to top dollar and get good prices for them. So in my opinion if a big company like that uses it regularly then i would say its reputable.

I'm having problems with these guys - sent my phone away 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing from them except an email saying they have received my phone. I have emailed them twice to ask where my cheque is and they have now emailed me and told me that money will be in my bank today, however I have not given them my bank details! Grrrr

I did receive my cheque eventually but they are very slow!
  • Debating whether to send my phone to these or accept a few quid less elsewhere.... hmmmm?
