Help!! I need a serious kick up the behind
At the beginning of my 1001 days, I worked out that I need to do an average of 3 tasks a month to comfortably complete this challenge. I started this on 1st January so I'm almost 8 months into this and have only comlepted 10 and have another 25 in progress.
When I wrote my list I was redundant so had plenty of time and energy. Now that I work full time I have found it difficult to motivate myself. That's where you guys come in!
My get up and go has got up and gone. Please, please, please help me find it again.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
LOL brummiebabe - i nicked a couple of bits off your list too!!
* shop at a farmers market- we have loads of farmers markets in the village but i have yet to shop at one
*get my nails professionally done - never done this
*find a poem that means something to me - i really like this
STITCHY - Get on with it!!!!!!!!!:D:D
In all seriousness you have 23 on the go so that is a great start.
Could you make a plan perhaps? I have printed mine out in tiny format to fit in my diary in my handbag. So i keep checking.
Have you got enough 'easy' ones you can make a dent in.
I have made a plan for about 5 on my list to do over the next few weeks.
Good Luck Stitchy - just have a long hard look at your list and make some happen xxxxOrange Fairy

I'm well on the way to finishing the utility room and will be able to tick off (90) "De-clutter hall & utility room" as the hall was de-cluttered a couple of months ago. If it gets re-cluttered does it still count?
definately counts stitchyDF as at 30/12/16

I've just read through your full list and think you've made really varied and interesting choices.
I'm a little jealous that you have no (98) on there. I've wanted a cocker spaniel since I was at school (that's 35 years ago).
About 5 years ago, whilst DH and I were separated, I bought a puppy cage, feeding dishes, collar and lead in preparation for my new "baby". Unfortunately DH gave me the choice of him or a puppy. It is four years since he moved back in & I'm pretty sure I made the wrong choice!Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. :rotfl:not sure I believe you there stitchy! I definately would take oh over a cocker but it'd be incredicbly sad
Thanks. It was really hard to do, difficult to think of things I really wanted to do without over stretching myself financiallyLa_escocesa wrote: »Oooh, I went to gosushi yesterday...another £2 in the pot!

When we were in Holland earlier this year we ate at a proper sushi bar and its a weird thing to think you're actually eating raw fish! Delish but slightly un-nerving!
Must say I'm loving the Dali Lama. Really interesting and seeing how it would be really easy to apply the ideas to my life to make it happier... I definately recomend xDF as at 30/12/16
