What was the cocktail? I used to work in a bar, but don't think I've ever actually drunk a cocktail!
I have next week off an I'm on a mission to sort out the utility room (can't remember which number that is) and ALSO to finish the exterior of the dolls' house that Jo and I have been building for 18 months...
I'll see what else is on the list I can do too.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -

ok so just got back from our cinema marathon!
watched "How to train your dragon" (animated film, which I highly recommend!) for the total cost of £3.30 for 2 :j then we snuck (not sure if this is even a word???) into Inception
was soooo funny as there were only 2 other ppl in the whole theatre, we were laughing for ages :T. Inception was good although, I actually preferred the animation
so that's #29 ticked off and another £2 in the Day 0 fundDF as at 30/12/16

Had a Tom Collins (or was that two...??:p). Only £3 so even with the other £2 in my pot I reckon it was a good choice!
Good luck with the utility room and the dolls house! :T
DNMS - imagine the cinema being so quiet and you still managing to get into the other film :rotfl:. That's hilarious! Good work!0 -

Stichy I made this yesterday https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/46125 it was a bit fiddly (because there are a few stages, but I'm sure if I made it a couple more times it would be easier) and it was totally delish thought it might help you with your "cook a new dish every month" taskDF as at 30/12/16

Just looking at my totals now actually... In Jan I had about 5k to clear so I broke it down into £3.5k before the end of this year and the remaining £1.5k before April 2011. Hoping I can smash it though and get the remaining £2.4k cleared before the end of the year (won't have wedding expenses and thinking about taking a mortgage pmt hol...). Next year I need to focus on the mortgage so would rather start that [STRIKE]headache[/STRIKE] challenge with no credit card to worry about. You should pop over to my diary thread to egg me on0 -
