Evening all!! Just wanted to say thanks for this thread.....it's a fantastic idea. Have spent the evening working on my list but will have to post the link another time when back on my PC (on my phone at the moment.). Have really enjoyed getting some ideas both from here & the actual site.
Have started reading 'the color purple' tonight......one of my aims is to read 50 of the top 100 books (the telegraph list) - but only ones i've never read before....
Shall update properly in the week.....20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Hey Brummiebabe, I need to join you in number 32!! I really need to not log onto Facebook for a whole week - it annoys me/bores me but for some reason I still log in!! Why oh why!0 -
Morning all.
My colouring book arrived yesterday!! woop woop. So i have started it so should be on my way to 'finish a colouring book'
Also i have planned october to be my 'vegetarian for a month' and 'no sweets for a month' monthAlso might try not swearing for a month. Get them all done together.
Also DD2's kite for her birthday arrived so i can fly that soon and cross it off my list
Sept is my month for a picture everyday. In sept DD2 starts school, has her christening, starts ballet, starts Rainbows, has her 5th birthday and then party on a separate day and we visit our friends new house. So feels like a good month to do it.
Also i am getting away to Wales this weekend with OH which crosses a 'weekend away with OH' off. Might perhaps read 'Wuthering Heights' or 'Pride and Prejudice' in the car. 10 hours of driving up to Anglesey!!!
Sp i am making progress
Perhaps i should add the facebook one too!!Orange Fairy
House Purchased April 19CC1=? CC2=? DH CC= Mortgage Overpay = £0 Savings = £0 Xmas savings = £0 Weightloss = 0 lb

Littlekel! You are gonna be busy!!! At least getting loads of them done in the one month will mean you'll have less chance of forgetting about them! :T
Oooh, Determined, hair cut! I bet tomorrow you'll try brushing thin air because all your hair's gone. I'm looking forward to getting my hair cut differently after the wedding - have just kept it in the same style so it's long enough to do something with on the day... Thinking I'll go for a change at Christmas.
Oh, did you get the Dalai Lama's book? I've got the art of happiness (I think that's the one on your list...) - about 1/3 of the way through. Don't read it every day but I do enjoy it when I remember about it. Let me know what you think.
Am off to FB now to update my virtual bookshelf. Saddo that I am...0 -

Oh heavens DNMS - well done. I had my waist-length hair chopped off to an "elfin" cropped look many years ago. Friends walked past me in the street as they just didn't recognise me!
Welcome to any newbies and also lurkers out there.
Brummiebabe - you've got a good list there. I will keep popping back to see how you are getting on.
I had hoped to complete (39) "Finish the dolls' house exterior" this month and I've only got to paint the roof. Easy enough, but it lives at DD's house so it will be a special trip at the weekend........but no excuses - it must be done!
I'm well on the way to finishing the utility room and will be able to tick off (90) "De-clutter hall & utility room" as the hall was de-cluttered a couple of months ago. If it gets re-cluttered does it still count?Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
