Yes they will for gamecube games not for Wii ones but all old gamecube games will work including bongos and wavebird. The best thing to do is not listen to people in shops, many know nothing. My friends mum brough an uneeded SD card today because HMV told her it was required to same games.

Sorry are you saying the old gamecube memory card will work on the Wii on the old gamcube games but not work on the Wii for the new Wii games?

not opened mine yet as it is a pressie for boy but it takes an sd memory card so your old gamecube one will not work, as for games all old gamecube games can be played on the wii, hope this helps

yeah. All GC accessories will work with GC games, but not with Wii.
