Nintendo WII pre order only £180

Has anyone pre-ordered from PC world online? If so, have you heard anything? I pre-ordered for my son on 11 october, I have had three confirmation e-mails dated 11 oct, 12 oct and 26 oct, none of which give a delivery date. The last one says they will e-mail again and have heard nothing since.
Anyone know what his chances of receiving one are?
Thanks.0 -
Argos take the full amount from your credit card straight away, I preordered a month ago and they are still allowing orders, I am not convinced they will be able to honour all their pre-orders, hope I am wrong.
I registered my interest at my local Game, they put me on the "phase 2 list", they said they would call me if anymore Wiis became available, they phoned me yesterday morning saying they were taking orders again, £20 deposit. Might be worth popping in if you are in the Commercial Rd. area of Portsmouth, the one by HMV not the Cascades branch.0 -

I mentioned this (and woolies) on the previous page! Got it from woolies confirmed and saved £5 using a voucher:T

Not sure really. I also have a preorder with pcworld but am thinking about cancelling it.......
It says delivery is '5-7 days after release date', but I'd quite like it on the day.

I'm really confused now! who should I preorder with argos, woolies or pcworld? it's going on a 0% credit card so i'm not fussed if they take the money straight away, I just want to be sure i'll get one before xmas!0

ring each one and check if I were you who is the most confident. I found Argos to be, and Woolies staff pretty much incomprehensible.0

Iv'e ordered from pc world but not had an official confirmation but just checked the site and the pre orders now say.
"Due to high demands, all pre orders taken on or after 6th November we are curently unable to guarentee delivery for launch day. "
So maybe good news.
I ordered on the 30/9/06.
As longs as it comes before christmas im happy as it was the best deal with a bit of quidco thrown in as well.
Not sure what to do about the game one now! Really want a concrete reply from pc world.0
