Fancy crutches

Options
Hi everyone!
I'm on crutches for life and want to get some new fancy ones! :D
Does anyone know of any sites where I can get some? (I'm looking for elbow crutches, preferably in black)
I've been looking around for ages, but I don't have a clue if the websites are reputable, so I thought I'd ask.
I'm fed up of my NHS ones, I've been on them for 13 years, so I think it's time for a change ;) Besides, they're battered from little old ladies ramming into me (they must have a magnet one them)!!!
Thanx in advance for your help. Jo.

if you want plain coloured ones. I've bought 2 pairs from Kate and she's excellent. chicaidcrutches.co.uk. Lots of colours including black.

Alternatively, if you want some serious bling then Debs will sort you out at glamsticks.co.uk. Sparkly or handpainted etc - lots of shiny, pretty things at her site.

Sorry, I can't post links so I hope this helps.

  • Thank you so much...I have been searching for ages for cool funky disability stuff from crutches walking sticks blue badge holders and when my wheelchair finally arrives for that too...I'm so excited about getting cool crutches.

Excuse my lack of punctuation I have no shift key.

  • Not sure if still operating, but I saw a company by the name of Glamsticks somewhere. Think I found them on here or Facebook.

I got the black and was seriously eyeing something more adventurous, but I'm now in a wheelchair, and not using crutches anymore. Cool wheelchairs are seriously expensive, sigh
