All of them, Sian - whenever you fancy :) Budget is £25 for the whole week.
Whoah, really? That is really very very impressive.
Well I am busy this weekend but shall plan some of them in for next week. My mouth is really watering at the thought of that eggy bread, oh and the pasta, and the roast pork... Mmm
Great plan Weezl and all who helped!

Particularly really need help with the sausagey potato salad

because i had it last night and it aint no salad :rotfl:
Do you have any spare mayonnaise? I can't see any on the shopping list, so I assume that you're making it (although the recipe isn't on planner as far as I can tell). At first glance, I can only see 3 tbsp of mayonnaise being used, but you also seem to have eggs left so I guess you could make extra?

Anyhow, to turn your sausage fry-up into a salad, how about adding an extra 250 g of carrots to your shopping list (at additional cost of 20p), grate them and add them (raw) to the potato, sausage and onion? You would then need something vinegary to make it taste more like a salad dressing -- so, either more mayonnaise (reducing oil accordingly), or a squeeze of lemon juice (30p for a lemon, or 40p for a bottle of lemon juice), or a splash of vinegar from the store cupboard.

By the way, I am intrigued... The egg mayonnaise sandwich recipe says to peel the eggs, saving the shells. What are the shells going to be used for??? :-)

Edited to add -- The Christmas planner looks great! Very tasty, and quite festive. Well done. :-)

Have you tried Freegle for an oven? We survived for months with a barbecue, slow cooker and microwave so I understand how hard it is.

Yep, but my local group is so popular that anything worth having is snapped up literally before I receive the emails :( I'm boiling and poaching everything - which has had the added bonus of my discovering that poached chicken is much more succulent and delicious than roasted, AND you end up with loads of stock for soups, gravies, stews etc...:T

I also don't have any transport, so any items have to be small or within walking/dragging distance...

I have been away too long! Found the christmas menu and have printed it off. For inspiration. For some reason I hve 5 pges of pretty pictures of all the recipies. Now I am going to make a picture of these, framing the menu and inspire the family! (I hope).
Today is really the first time I have thought about Christmas in a long time. All my plans at the beginning of the year went to pieces of course! Oh well, if I hadnt just eaten my shepherds pie, I think I would have been looking into testing the puddings. I must get back on board with things. I have just done a £50.41 Mr A shop, which will take DGD and myself with DS dipping in, up until the end of the month. Except for fresh milk, and the vegetables from the garden.
I have more courgettes then I can shake a stick at, and need to use them up!.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

I have just had the smoked salmon pasta for dinner Mooloo and I can recommend it, very yummy indeed. You could have courgette with it, grated and raw, or steamed, or mixed in or something!

I'm going to make the pasta tomorrow. That's a great tip about the courgette Lesley. I'll grate it and mix it in. It does get rather hard to think of new things to do with them at this time of year.

Allegra, please could we have a link to the Christmas recipes in your early post which also links to Kitty (or somewhere similar), where it will be much easier to find.
