Ooh, silly me, I just remembered that since me and my OH are moving to our new house on Saturday we won't have internet access for a while! I will be able to come online on my phone but it's not ideal. I may follow the plan in it's entirety, I will definitely be trying all the main courses though. So I will be reporting back perhaps briefly for the next week or so until I'm reconnected to the web, and I will upload any pics I take then

Okay Jenny
Anything you like, on the Monday, so we can all start together "officially " ? I'll eat hornetgirl's portion so she can reckon she has started same time as the rest of us
BTW, HG, I was absolutely bowled over by the panzanella when we first tried it - I did fear it might be a bit ghastly. It does not look or taste at all like what it is, DH might surprise you. Perhaps try it one weekend lunchtime to see how he takes it.... ?
That's a good idea Allegra. I think he'd be much happier with it as a lunch on a trial basis.0 -
Hi to you all, been really busy setting up a new venture, sorry not to have joined in more. We will be happy to try some of the new recipes but maybe not until next week, so will be about a week behind most of you.
Feel a bit silly asking but I have defrosted my chicken ready to poach it in the slo cooker and use the results to make as many meals as possible, but I have lost my paperwork :mad:which i printed, (about the only drawback of having my beautiful 3 year old granddaughter living with us, mummy tries to keep an eye, but she likes to "illustrate " any papers she finds).
Can anyone help please? Pretty Please.0 -

ok i usually boil the water in my kettle first to save slocooker time.
pop the bird in breast side down, pour enough hot water over to nearly cover the bird.
Pop in an onion or a lemon into the cavity first if you have one and any thyme etc.
add lid, set to auto and enjoy the rest of your day!

Hi again,
wanted to share some thoughts about the future for CFR
It seems to me there are quite a few developments which I/we can focus our energies on. Perhaps just one will emerge as a strong candidate and there will be lots of energy for that or perhaps they will all bubble away together.
1) we can do a press release about our activities
2) we can do a 'hardcore' planner for joel
3) we can add nutrition boxes to each recipe
4) we can add more articles enhancing the teaching to fish parts of the site, like juliettes idea for an article on how to frugalise a recipe.
All of these have lots of room for all of your excellent contributions and the more the merrier
I look forward to hearing what people think.
Love to you all,
Weezl x
