I'm the same when I am annoyed etc, it's almost natural instinct to spend, and don't beat yourself up if you do spend. Take advantage of the good days when you're pro active and save / not spend etc.

My entrance is a jazz version of Aerosmith - armageddon. I wasn't looking for it, but when I heard it I knew I had to have it.

Theres some lovely words in that song :p

Jellie, As long as the tune is easy to pick up, remember they will have the words in front of them in the order of service books. Think about the hymns you would have sung in school - most people know them: all things bright and beautiful lord of the dance etc.

    Hi everyone!

YB- would love to be able to hear it. Not sure I know the jazz version but I love the usual version!

SH- thanks for your comments. I'm glad it's not just me!

Katsu- thanks for that. We now have 4 possibles and at least 1 sorted for the signing of the register. Now I just need to rise above it all when other people say they don't like our choices!!

We were going to go bridesmaid shopping today but we're all lacking energy and I needed to finish painting the wall. However I feel better now I know the kind of thing my sister wants and know the likely colour. From looking on the internet we reckon BHS is a pretty good bet. Would be good if she finds something there as they do lots of matching accessories as well. Could make things much easier!

I can't find it on you tube but you can listen to a sample here . It's actually sax not Jazz, my mistake.

We got our bridesmaid dresses and shoes from BHS. they fit lovely, and all were on sale.

It sounds great! Might have to download it for the meal music!
Glad BHS gets the thumbs up- hope something there will suit her! I quite like the cute waistcoats- although we're not having page boys we have 4 nephews and might get them matching waistcoats!

    That sounds nice.

Look up vitamin string quartet on you tube. Some really nice tracks. We're having snow patrol chasing cars to walk out to.

I like Shine Jesus Shine. Would like Be Still For the Presence but I don't think many people will know it.
I'm liking We Pledge to One Another (to tune I vow to thee my country). Problem is I sound rubbish singing it because of the range you need!

I can't sing anything needing a range greater than Baa Baa Black Sheep!!

I'm not a religious person, but always liked Jerusalem and How Great Thou Art too :D

Am religious, but first heard "How Great Thou Art" as a jazz standard;)

hi jellie - my daughter was a bridesmaid just over a year ago in a bhs dress - it was lovely but then she was only 6 at the time! I got her a little matching bolero in a bigger size and it still fits her! I had a feeling that the other bridesmaids dresses for older teens were also bhs but I could be wrong.
