We have booked the honeymoon :j A week in a hotel in the Lake District- expensive but we're hoping it will be special! I'm looking forward to seeing the lakes! One more thing crossed off the list.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

We've got 1 large freezer and 1 smaller one and both are pretty full. We have plenty of tins, pasta, rice etc so I'm sure we can do a month. Once we've run the stocks down we'll do a makro run and restock up ready for more batch cooking. If I don't do this a few times a year I find stuff gets hidden in the freezer for years!!
Restaurant booked for wedding :j
OH has also booked tickets to see Les Mis for my birthday in April. At least we have things to look forward to while being frugal in between!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Exciting news about the wedding. I'm starting to think about all the small touches and bits and pieces now. We have to meet our planner soon to discuss all the final bits and pieces. Scared? Yes lol0

Have almost finished inventory of freezer. Have over 30chicken breasts, 16 steaks, 4kg minced beef, 16 salmon steaks, about 20 meals of stuff already made and frozen and much more! I think my store cupboard challenge could run for months!!
Plan for weekdays this week is beef pie, enchiladas, home made pizza, chicken and chorizo pasta and make salmon and prawn pie (bulk make and freeze). should just need to buy milk and a couple of bits for the new recipe. Once I've planted up a herb garden here I'll get away with buying even less between major shops!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Wow! It's amazing what piles up in the freezwe... Good luck with the challenge.
SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Oh my word you have so much in your freezer. You shouldn't need to shop for the month, it wont be a challenge lol0
