    Good work Dansmum!

Radish- great idea but at the moment I'm trying not to get more but if I'm tempted I will have to remember to get them from the library first!

Smlsave- I'm using web more to find recipes too.

This is probably a terrible thing to say but I went through the first Jamie book and couldn't even find a handful of recipes to try. I found the same with the 3 other Jamie books I have and realised I haven't cooked a recipe from any of them. I think this is partly because I find the way they are written difficult to follow! I have therefore decided to scan the handful of recipes I might try and pass the books on.
I now need to choose another cookery book to try for this month! I'm thinking the Delicious one as there is a great range of recipes I haven't tried yet. Will try and cook from it over the weekend and base my meal plan for next week on it.

Have any of the teachers on here tried doing any tutor group work on MSE stuff? I'm thinking of doing some sessions on cooking, meal planning, budgeting etc. Anyone got any resource suggestions?

Plus between sites like love food hate waste and BBC recipes etc you can get everything online now! Still like to have some books though. My Leiths book gets used all the time!

That was one of the things I was thinking of doing but was hoping someone would have made a PowerPoint and activities to save me doing it! :D What did you do and how did it go? Hope you are enjoying maternity leave!

1week of store cupboard challenge done. Have stuck to meal plans and kept grocery spends under £10. Now need to start thinking what to do over weekend and next week while keeping in budget again.
