Bedroom looking a lot better but still more to do to get books and clothes down to limits! I was previously in a 2 bed house by myself and ended up filling the fitted wardrobes in main and spare bedrooms with clothes (plus out of season ones in loft). Many were cheap or charity shop buys but excessive none the less! It has taken several attempts to whittle them down and will probably take several more to get to the level I'm aiming for! Especially now I'm making clothes!!
I also had a loft space pretty much filled with books! Again I am getting there gradually!!
Made my cake yesterday for OH- under his tuition. Looks ok just hope it will taste good!
I'm feeling strangely nervous about work tomorrow so have just done some prep to make it a bit easier. Now I've just got to decide what to declutter next! OH is currently working his way through the study- bless. He really is an amazing guy!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Wow you've certainly got a lot done... We are very slowly decluttering but hopefully it is an improving picture. Needs to improve a lot before xmas or the kids will have nowhere to put everythingAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

My bedroom is one of the worst rooms in the house, as all the junk gets stored in there for some reason. I am getting there slowly with it, just cleared out under the bed and boxed up a load of books to go in the loft, some to keep and some for the car boot pile etc.0

Hi all - sounds like we're all on a declutter mission! I'm now rereading the book making notes- a bit sad but it will be much quicker to reread the notes each time I'm about to tackle the next task rather than reread the whole book.
Baby steps and hopefully the house will be sorted by the wedding.
Have offered to do big boxing day bash here to save my mum the hassle. Help! Any ideas of buffet type stuff I could make and freeze/ refrigerate in advance?2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

Forgot to say we went for our usual Saturday lunch at the restaurant where we are planning to have the wedding. Since there will be other people in there I thought it would be quite low key and thought at most I might buy some pink flowers for the tables. One of our regular waiters brought over his phone with photos of a wedding they had just done and the place looks great in it- really poshed up. I would be fine with it looking as usual but I think my family would have been disappointed. Now I think everyone will be happy :j2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Hi Jellie
just popping in to say well done on all your decluttering!
I was just chatting to my Mum about doing a buffett yesterday, how odd is that!?! We ended up deciding on cold meats, quiche, coleslaw and salad and the slow cooker full of soup/stew and bread rolls to keep it simple. Hope it helpsCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Thanks so much for those ideas. Really helpful as my brain freezes as soon as I start thinking about it.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0
