I'm pretty sure you can get cracker stuff in hobby craft but might not be MSE.
OH is great- another reason to buy the pressie, it's not like he is being selfish! I, on the other hand, have asked for a tailors dummy! expensive and no use to OH at all!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
I won a dualit toaster years ago and it was worth £150. Mind you it still works almost ten years later, so not so much of a false economy than you'd think.0

True- it should be a laster! Wish I'd won ours! It will make wonderful toast I'm sure and get lots of use.
Had several NSDs in a row. Probably about time to do a monthly update!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Update of mortgage details today
Mortgage paid £290 675.47/£295 000 (1.8%)
Interest paid £7 745.52
Offset accounts £24586.76 (8.5%)
We still have payments coming out for new windows etc. but hopefully by the New Year things will settle down again and we should see more progress.
Having a bit of a declutter again. Looking forward to the holidays- have a few rooms/areas still to sort out after the move. If I have time I might start some decorating too.

Snow day today- just been trying to dig car out but not having much joy! We had about a foot and a half of snow within a day. Spent yesterday evening looking at cars trying to get out and up the road before giving up! Unfortunately although we've cleared some snow around the car the wind seems to be blowing it back!
Been reading a great book on decluttering. Will try and summarize it here later to remind me of the key principles. Nothing new really but it spurs me on to keep going.
OH at home today and he's cleared a bit more from pile of boxes in study. He hasn't had as much time as me so is lagging a bit! Reading some other diaries I'm glad he's stayed home. I was really worried about him getting back yesterday.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

Hi Jellie
Glad you are ok, and can see things are progressing well.. Am not as lucky as you, as am in the office (looking out of the window at the heavy snow outside!!) I still have to face the tricky ride home in traffic jams... then its off to table tennis, if its not cancelled...
Glad your OH is back home and helping out too...

Another NSD but need to get a housewarming gift. Not sure how I'm going to make it money neutral!
Might be the wrong thing for the people you're thinking of...but if you have the technology, how about making them up some headed paper/postcards with envelopes??
People love having stuff with their new address on and its useful too. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Froggy- hope you got home safely. Thankfully school seem to have realised the difficulties people faced getting home on Tuesday and seem to be being sensible! More snow forecast tonight and despite digging car out a bit again it is redrifting! Another day at home tomorrow so will dig it out again!
Grateful for help- that is an amazing idea. Might even be able to find something suitable and free on vista print!
Beanielou- it is a work in progress. Have been chipping away all year! Hopefully get more done tomorrow. Will hopefully type my plans up here so I can find them!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
jellie - on crackers it would probalby be cheaper to buy some cheap crackers I think - Asda do 12 for £4 and I think have a cheaper range - and canibalise them for the snaps - just a thought...
The works or wilkinsons might also do make your own cracker sets with snaps....
I haven't dared go near hobbycraft this year - too much temptation!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
