Hope you are doing okay in yourself too and not working too hard!

The double glazing here was done in stages. The units we are replacing are very old and shot!

Still not feeling very well but it's half term so I can rest up a bit! Trying to decide whether to get some marking done today!

    Hi Jellie :j

Just had confirmation that Tesco vouchers would arrive by 19/11, and need to be used by 05/12 to be used as 4 times their face value...
    Hope this helps..
    Have a great day!

Thanks so much for that Froggy! Just used some vouchers today for Christmas presses. Planning to use them all before the December deadline. In fact i've been planning gifts today and think we can probably get everything with various loyalty cardvand voucher schemes!

SH- enjoy the break, you need time off to relax or you'll end up being slower at work!

Big spend day here. Bought jewellery and shoes for wedding. I hate spending money on things like this! I have tried to get things I will use a lot not just for the big day though so will hopefully be worth the money! Also took some more photos to use for invites. Need to start thinking about the format and wording.

I think jellie that you should enjoy the things you are buying for the wedding and not beat yourself up about it. You are still doing really well.

Sounds like you are getting xmas sorted too... I need to do more...

Thanks for that SH- you're right of course! It just seems very frivolous spending so much for one day. However, it is after all the most important day! I'm making savings where I can and am not really going over the top so I should feel good about it not bad!

Hi Jellie :) I agree with holmes, that you shouldn't feel bad. Yes it is frivolous but worth it!

I bought classic pearl jewellery and wear it at every occasion :D I wasted some money on satin shoes which I stained just wearing them round the house :o and ended up with my purple high-heels on the day :D

I guess the other thing is that anything I won't reuse could be sold on.
    The purple heels sound great!
Had my colours and makeup done today pre-wedding. It confirmed that it would be a waste to pay for someone to do my makeup on the big day as it always makes my eyes water! It was good to get ideas on colours to use and the best way to apply it. I surprised myself by quite enjoying it!
Might book something similar for a pre- wedding treat for my mum, sister etc instead of having a hen night nearer the time. Would much prefer to give my girls a hand to feel special on our big day. Will have to cost it up and see how the wedding budget is going!
