It is most definitely a wind up - anyone who has a koi pond needs a pump - the hose will be put out of the water and the water pumped out - it does not need any sort of sucking to get the water out. Plus to syphon water off with a hose it would have to be lower at the end than the top.
I have to admit I was taken in until he asked how to get the water out.
Very funny though. Is work on shut-down this week?0 -
This is one deal that wont be gazundered.:D
My favourite bit was opening door in pyjamas expecting to see postie, instead a dog to be buried and a pitchfork. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

O"h can i take a snap of your dead dog. Prop him up against the lobelias and say cheese." I think not.
I feel a bit intimidated in my own house. I wish someone else was here with me.
Indeed of course you can't cos none of it exists.
Well done though, I have enjoyed the story.
Made me smile a couple of times.0 -
they say the they are bringing the dog at 9pm now. so far he has only got a couple of chunks and his back is looking very wet with sweat. I hope he doesnt want to use the bath. I cant see how the dog will fit but I dont like to ask.
I have had an email from freecycle. Typical, the guy wants me to drive the fish to cheltenham of all places as he is disabled and cannot drive. How does one transport fish in a car?0 -
Joking aside Henpecked1, I am actually concerned re the sale thing as you've posted another thread re the land registry and missing bits...https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2637925...
I really think you should be assertive, state that your wife is very unhappy re the situation and that you've taken some advice and wish to speak to your solicitor before more disruption to your property occurs.
It's your house, your garden, if you can't do the above, say you have to leave NOW as there is a family emergency and get them to leave.
Then tomorrow, first thing ring your solicitor.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

i dont have a pump. i add water to it every week or so using the hose. At the back of the garden is a slope which also runs down the side edges which is now sodden.0 -
