Feeling quite disappointed as still not had a phone call about the job. Ah well im guessing I havent got it. Never mind will keep trying. Off to the pub now shame I will be on the wrong side of the bar lol. Need to do a meal plan for next week when I get in and also a plan of action regarding the house. I will start crossing things off my list of 101 things to do.

    Have a great evening everyone

Don't feel too bad as you never know...unexpected delays (someone off sick for the day etc.) can mean people don't find out for longer than they expect.

Best of luck at work and keep a G&T on the rocks with a slice of lime for me, please! ;)

G&T ice and a slice coming up lol

Home from work, was quite boring really, not many people in and the weather is foul!! Made £4 in tips so thats a bonus.

Seems weird walking into a dark quiet house, but least pup was pleased to see me. Just took him out for a quick walk and it was quick coz we got soaked!!!

Need to do a meal plan for the next 7 days, something quick and easy as im back at my day job on Monday plus extra hours in the pub so its going to be 2 weeks of chaos before the kids come home.

Also need to get an action plan together of how im going to tackle the decluttering.

I took electric meter readings today, will be interesting to find out just how much the ids cost me a week in electricity, now that should make for interesting reading.

Best get on with my lists but 1st a coffee to wind down abit.

    *Takes G&T and sips appreciatively*

    Mmmm....that is sooooo good! :)

Doing a meal plan at this time of night is real dedication to the cause: well done! :T

Perhaps you can use your meter readings to make sure that the kids turn off lights/computers etc. under threat of the difference coming out of their pocket money? ;) That should save you a few bob! :rotfl:

Nighty night. (That's G&T for me and coffee for you.)

After my lie in tomorrow I am going to start on decluttering. Think the easiest places to start will be the kids rooms that way I can get rid of all the stuff they havent touched for months and sort through their clothes to see what they have got or what they need.

    Bedroom 1
    DONE

    Bedroom 2

    DONE

    Bedroom 3
    DONE

    Bedroom 4

    clean window
    sweep floor
    mop floor

    lounge
    DONE
    kitchen
    DONE
    bathroom
DONE Think that list is enough to be getting on with for now.

Quick shower then bed for me I think

OMG how lazy am I? I was woken at 7 with the pup, he wanted to go out, so I took him for a walk for 1/2 an hour, came back home got back in my pjs and went back to bed and ive only just woken up!!! Got loads to do today but its all in the house so im going to stay in my pjs haha. Got some eggs boiling so going to declutter those before I start on my list, although I think I might amend it and start with the kitchen/dining room, got so much stuff in their that its getting me down so wiill crack on with that today I think. Lodger is away at weekends so I wont be disturbing anyone whilst im chucking things out the door and moving furniture around. Will be back later to update my list.

    [STRIKE]clear table[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]clear out drawers[/STRIKE]

  • So much for getting the washing out on the line, its flipping pouring down!!! Gonna have to resort to using the dryer :(

Upto now ive got 2 bin bags of carp from the drawers and the dresser and ive still not finished!!! Although I have washed up. I need a dishwasher so I can just load it and leave it.

    Oh well back to it

  • Been at it all day but have achieved loads. Kitchen and dining room are now all squeaky clean and not a scrap of dirt or a cobweb anywhere. Sorted through the drawers and chucked loads away. Going to make myself a brew and some toast in a minute, seems like hours ago since I had tea.

No spend day today and stayed in my PJs, dogs been running round the garden all day and is now fast asleep in his bed.

Work tomorrow so will have to crack on with the rest of the house tomorrow evening when I get in. Least no cooking to be done tomorrow and should be no washing up WOOP WOOP
