Well done on the meal planning, it makes such a difference!
Where do you do your grocery shopping? Some of the items sound pretty pricey? I am a big fan of lidl/aldi/netto - I do my weekly shop at lidl, you can't beat paying 29p for an avocado!!
The OldStyle board is also another great place to look, my second favourite board to DFW.
You seem to be doing a great job xx0 -

I agree re the airer - I use one in the winter and wet weather. When I lived in a tiny flat I even stood it on the chest freezer!
You can even take the airer outside - then you can carefully bring it in if the weather turns.
Honestly, you don't need amazing weather to dry outside - give it a try. Breezy days are good and don't need to be hot. I have got a straight line and some clothes props to give it height. Far superior to a rotary airer - dries much faster and is quite cheap to setup.
Clothes dry really fast in doorways. I hang them on hangars then put them in the spare room doorway. They will dry very fast and at night you can hang them in the downstairs doorways too.

My nearest large tesco/sainsburys/aldi/lidl/morrisons/asda are all 15 miles away so I usually shop at Co-operative or the local high street.
If I do venture into town and do a large shop I always seem to get in a pickle with my finances. I get p/t wages weekly, tax credits weekly, child benefit every 4 weeks, main wages 4 weekly and maintenance monthly. My essential living costs come out at various dates throughout the month. I cant seem to budget properly so what I am aiming to do is just use my pt weekly wages as shopping money as this is paid in cash on a friday. I really need to save up 1 months worth of "bill" money then once I have done this I will know how much I have left every month and can start to budget accordingly.Sealed Pot Challenge member #982

Took the kids for a drive yesterday and ended up at a lovely little town on the river with lovely locks. Had a nice walk in the sunshine and called into a pub for a drink. Then had fish and chips on the riverbank and chilled for afew hours.
Called in the shop on the way home and bought some wrapping paper and a birthday cake for my son, hes 13 today and in typical teenager style he is still in bed!!! Not waking him up yet as im enjoying the peace lol

Had to put diesel in the car yesterday and buy milk and bread so I now have £28.90 left in my purse to last me till payday. Should be OK as will only need to top up on bread and milk tomorrow.Sealed Pot Challenge member #982
