Thanks Different corner,
to be honest we are very similar with OH with a couple of excemption. He is always very careful, meanwhile I'm so clumsy:). One of my friends said to me that she can describe me as: someone who destroys things cause she hasn't learnt how to fix them yet...Well, according to OH it's true though I don't do it on purpose:).
Work is busy today but should be able to sort out things. Loving the sunshine, cycling was great today!0 -
Morning hun, I bet cycling in the sunshine was lovely!!! I'm cycling to my Pilates class tonight which should be good, 2 lots of exercise in one, I love being on my bike, especially through the countryside with all the lovely green fields etc.
Hope you get through your list today, I should really do a todo list but am feeling rather lazy!!!0 -
Ok, a quick to do (must do I say) list for today:
x [STRIKE]magazine subscription[/STRIKE]
x [STRIKE]call MNT about passing exam or not[/STRIKE]
x upload photos on photobox/facebook
x send photos to family
x [STRIKE]email furniture company[/STRIKE]
x do 5 competitions
x [STRIKE]buy oatibix[/STRIKE] out of stock:(
x [STRIKE]call embassy[/STRIKE]
x [STRIKE]email estate agent with details[/STRIKE]
x [STRIKE]book spinning class[/STRIKE]
x [STRIKE]check bank account[/STRIKE]
Uploading pictures now. Magazine subscription came out as £15 for a year, usually I pay that amount for 4 issues, so def. huge savings. I need to do a new budget for the house, we might not need to use the whole £30k meaning that we can have our emergency budget earlier and can tackle the loan earlier.
Thinking about match betting, i really need to download the guide and study it, it might be a good way to earn some extra money. I spent £7 today, had to buy some medicine as I have sore throat and TTOM is coming soon so need to be ready for the pain.
I need to pay £50 at the embassy tmrw, gosh they're just ripping people off:eek:. I counted for this but still, hearing it makes me feel sad.0 -
It's the dreaded Wednesday again, OH is off work:o. I'm praying that he sticks to the shopping list today, only has prawns and milk on it:D.
We bought the theatre tickets last night Martin offered in his email as my OH wanted to go to Brighton for the day (costing us £30) but the weather seems rubbish. So we only paid £19.50 for two, should be fun, haven't been to theatre since Xmas.
I paid £50 at the embassy, now need to post the letters which should cost me another £5ish. Money finally arrived on my bank account which is good as got a qoute for a kitchen yesterday (reasonable) and they want 80%deposit straight away and they can fit it at the beginning of September, earlier than we thought :T.
Right, better start doing some work otherwise I will never finish.0 -
OH has been to the shops and confessed! He bought bacon!!!
x he should have looked in the freezer first as we still have one pack there :ox0 -
lol, kavics you do make me laugh, atleast that is all he bought, my OH is horrendous for buying stuff! He spends 4x what I would and buys completely unecessary things!! It's so frustrating so he is banned.0

It is very frustrating- I should take his debit card away. Missy, I passed my course (not the OU one, results are in on Friday though!), I'm so pleased, need to celebrate!!! Shame i have cold and can't drink:(. By the time I feel better, the in-laws-to-be will be here and i wouldn't want to share a bottle of champaigne

OOOh kavics well done on passing your course!! I'm so very pleased for you. Oh bless you being poorly I wouldnt share my champagne either! Oh dear for in laws!! I'm so glad I live close to the in laws so that they never have to stay!!:D0
-
Lucky you!!! They always come to see us over the summer though this is the shortest so far, they tend to stay for 2 weeks or so! We don't speak the same language so it's quite ok, my OH's mum is very bossy but not understanding what she wants/says helps

Ok, Thursday morning. A trip to the bank is due. Need to move the money out of my current account before it goes all somewhere else:o.
Pls, pls let me be strong and do it by 9.30, I don't want to stress myself of having so much money on my current account (we're paying for house today:eek::eek:). OH insisted I don't cycle today but I can't bear the tube, it takes appr. an hour by public transport to get to work, on my bike it's only 30 min!
Other than the bank, have plenty to do:- book body pump class
- pay electricity/gas bill
- find electric oven and order it
- find fan
- find and order kitchen door handles
- contact electrician to move entry phone and light switch
- develop pictures for my auntie
- confirm my days off in September
It is now confirmed that from September I won't work the last Thursday and Friday of the month, meaning less salary (I already put reduced salary into SOA) but more time to do those assignments. I don't know if it's a good thing or not yet but I'm looking forward not getting up at 6 twice a month on weedays:rotfl:.0
