The Currys instore system came up with a price of £97
how many times do you need telling?
the clue is in the -97 price. Thats the way the system works, it reduces prices ad infinitum even though stock has been grabbed withing hours of the line going discontinued
they dont exist! you are not going to get one! get over it!

Except, of course that in some stores, they DO exist. Well, they did two days ago!

By now, all will have become 'faulty' and departed in the back of DSG staff cars!
    British Ex-pat in British Columbia!
  • Well i got laughed out my local Currys store,
nice lady said (when she stopped laughing) that if they had any 42 inch at that price theyd be at her house by now,

cant blame her , I'd be the same.
  • rang currys customer services to do a stock check on my local currys they informed me there was two in stock rushed down at 7.30 last night. My response was we have not sold that model for nearly two years and it had a load of faults a lot of them were sent back to sony as faulty and discontinued he did say though if you did want one contact sony direct and they might have a back log of them could be worth a try !
  • We have had this TV for the past 18 months. I paid just over £1300 including the glass stand. Not had any problems with it so far. In terms of the picture quality we viewed the unit along side some Plasma TV's and it was alot clearer than Plasma's at the time. The only draw back is that its not HD.
For less than £300 it a steal for £97 its the bargain of the century
  • I dropped them an email and they said there were none left in the UK.
  • it amazes me how stupid people can be sometimes

And comments like this cause arguements, so it does amaze me how stupid people can be!

But first, the most asked question:

Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"

A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."

there never were any available for the public at that price. no-one, i repeat no-one can get them at this price. its just the way the system works when a line is discontinued.
you cant get them at 297,197 or 97 dont bother trying or ringing.
how many times have we been over this on here?

The sooner you realise there's nothing special about Sony, the sooner you start to MoneySave ;)
