Yup. £297.

Did a double take, rubbed my eyes and it still said £297 on the label.

How much do these things cost to run?

210 watts apparently, so just over 2p per hour.

Compares to 180 watts for a 40" LCD and 250 watts for a 46" LCD, so no different really.

Would these be OK for hooking up to a XBOX - i.e. do these type of tv's work well with games..?

These rear projection TVs are absolutely useless. Go and check them out in a store. You can't see the picture unless you are staring dead straight at the screen and at the same level. Their lamps (they are basically like a projector emitting the picture on the plastic front screen) have a very limited life span and are very costly to replace. Avoid............
