I had the same problem and fixed by doing a system restore, this was 3 weeks ago, and it has not come back, so this would seem to be the answer.

  • My advice would be go to an ISP that provides free spyware, virus and malware software such as Norton!

Failing that, just cluck on any suitable link!

I had this program attach itself to my computer, and found the easiest way to erase it was by using SYSTEM RESTORE, this removed all trace of the offending program.:T
  • I seem to remember hearing about this (or a similar content site) on a BBC Radio 4 consumer type programme earlier this year.
If it is the same one then the bill messages start popping up more and more frequently until your computer becomes unusable.
Sorry but I can't remember whether they gave a solution.

OP perhaps needs some advice on firewalls, virus scanners, spybot programs etc.
My OH deals with this side of things but I believe we use AVG Anti-virus, Sunbelt Personal Firewall and possible another AVG spybot prog - I don't think we had to purchase these, they have a free to use version.

  • This bill has installed itself on my PC, on Christmas day all family present in the house PC in the living room it was switched off all day! The site they are now charging for is "pink zone"

Currently waiting to see if Spybot has done the trick.
