if it meant not paying a license at all i would forgo a tv for the brief time i am home!!--its only 4 weeks and i get out and about and the 120 quid odd would come in useful!!--sounds like i have to do it whilst in the uk unless someone knows a direct number to the tv licensing??mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

i actually have held off stopping cancelling my license payment over the years i have lived abroad because i listened to the bbc radio (2) and feel some sort of 'need' to pay my license!!!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

I always thought you had to have a tv licence (even just a black n white) If you had an appliance that recieved BBC/FM signals??

In short, no.
You have to be watching broadcasts to be liable.0
