Isn't it better that you get some of the manifesto implemented rather than the Lib Dems sitting on the side with no real influence again?

But this is where they are in their element. Nick Clegg would have got less of a shafting if he dropped the soap in the shower block, he must be incredibly gormless not to have seen it coming, he's akin to the gullible teenager applying for all the "Trainee management" jobs in the local paper. I bet he's worked for Kirby.

Oh I know, I get the sense that a lot of the people who voted for the lib dems would be happier if they never got actual government power and instead kept on the sidelines moaning at the 'establishment'.

Least they got some of their manifesto in.

Does it really matter at all what the lib dems do or say? They seem rather irrelevant from where I'm sitting.

Lib Dems will regard this coalition as a success if they get the voting reform in, that is their main agenda for this entire term.

If thier 'main agenda' was getting voting reform as opposed to the economy, the NHs and the pointless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (to name but three policies) then it seems a tad selfish.

Remind me, who is going to vote for that?
