I misunderstood your first post, sorry.
I don't see any problem in placing 3x£3 bets on the same selection, but if you insist:

Make sure that your betting account is empty before using your mobile credit for placing a bet(s).The stake money
Depending on how you first came to use betNOW your default stake will be £3, £5 or £10. This is your standard bet size which can be funded from your phone bill. Vodafone customers may stake up to £30 per bet from their phone bill.

Went with the BetNow method. They gave me a £3 free bet as a promo, so used that on the maidana vs morales fight. £3 on morales (insurance) as a heavy underdog just incase (win £18) and my actual phone credit of £9 on maidana so the win should be £9.63 unless the underdog wins in which case, £18Inigo_Montoya wrote: »Same situation here
Betnow is quite useful - you can either gamble on very low odds e.g. I did "rafael nadal to win" or for complete certainty bet both sides of a tennis match & lose about 15% of the amount gambled (which you can then cash out)
Did it via 3 x £3 bets to get to the odd number of £9, just 4 pence left on phone after the text costs. Perfect! Thanks. 0 -
Generally it is a bad idea to back opposite outcomes at the same bookie. Much better is either to use different bookies or to lay the same outcome at a betting exchange (betfair, betdaq).
Also, it's a mystery to me how you can make £9.63 return from a winning £6@1.08 bet on Maidana and losing £3 bet on Morales0 -
I'm not doing this for the sake of betting, but to get my credit out after which i'm going back to not betting. But i don't see how it'll cause any issues betting two ways.Generally it is a bad idea to back opposite outcomes at the same bookie. I'll get £9.63 for £9 phone credit (odds for Maidana was 1.07 at time of betting). On top of that i got a £3 free bet, which i put on Morales as insurance since he's the heavy underdog, should he surprise everyone i get £18.0 -
That's why if you do this correctly you can get the same guaranteed return regardless of the outcome. You can make about £8 from £9 mobile credit and about £2 from the free £3 bet (without risking to lose everything in the unlikely event of the draw result)I'm not doing this for the sake of betting, but to get my credit out after which i'm going back to not betting.
Well done anyway (if it's not a draw).
Mug punters never do this. Most bookies like only mug punters and close/limit accounts of those who behave differently. Don't know if it's the case for Betnow. But i don't see how it'll cause any issues betting two ways.
With the free £3 bet the figures do make sense.I'll get £9.63 for £9 phone credit (odds for Maidana was 1.07 at time of betting). On top of that i got a £3 free bet, which i put on Morales as insurance since he's the heavy underdog, should he surprise everyone i get £18.0 -
This may sound like a particularly idiotic question to ask and as im not much of a gambler (im a lover!) im not entirely sure what text betting is and how it works!
Can someone give me a quick explanation on how this actually works? do these people take my credit??? is that even legit? im confused!I'm not normally a religious man, but... if you're up there, save me, Superman!0 -
This is legit. See the link above to the thread on the GIOL board.
Read it and the information on their website.
I have not done this personally, but I will be able to answer any specific questions if you have them.0 -
Does anyone know of any other ways that don't involve gambling? Any advice would be appreciated. Have got credit built up that I'm never going to use.0
