HI all
GP best of luck on your challenge, sounds like very hard work but for a great cause:D
Shaggy 7 AFD for me please
Didn't manage to be AF last night but was on Tuesday, feel really fed up today, why oh why do I have to do it?
Does everyone argue with themselves about alcohol? I wish I would win more often0 -
Utterly exhausted. Slept okay, had a couple of really vivid dreams...one was a really odd, I was leaving the house to go to the shop to buy beer, just one beer, I remember thinking that cos it was very late at night but there were 3 or 4 big diggers in the road outside my house digging up the road and everyway I went I couldn't get my car past! The diggers were dropping tarmac everywhere and damaging the cars, I reversed to get out of the way of one of the diggers that was swinging round and hit my car into another one parked up....it was like carnage :rotfl: I don't think I ever did get to the shop.
WE are your diggers - we might be a bit messy, but we keep you straight:A :rotfl: :rotfl:
Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Thank you Shaggy, I think the combined power of everyone rooting for me helped me get there......would've died if I had to come on here and confess to drinking!
Ha ha ! Shame is very motivatingWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Good Morning all.
Well done Jo and Shaggy and anyone else who managed to stay sober
I'm on my 6th day sober here, and although I didn't sleep a wink last night, I feel pretty good!
Am full of nerves about my ESA Appeal Hearing Tribunal tomorrow at 2pm.
My advocate is coming over at 10am this morning, so we can go through things as a trial run.
Even nervous about that!
Have a great day all.
Cheers,

GP, I doubt very much you'll see this now till you get back....if at all! But just wanted to wish you every success for your trip. I looked at your blog and am envious of the scenery you get to see everyday and I also wanted to congratulate you on the fantastic amount of money you've raised for a worthy cause.
Hope you don't get a numb bum
xx
Cheers Dears! Train to Barrow isn't leaving till 1pm and the station is just around the corner, so I arranged to pop into work and check a few things before clearing off.
When I bought the bike last year it was a bit of a slog, and I've made sure that I've done a lot of training to get ready for this. In the process, it's actually become one of most favourite things...so I actually feel like a bit of a fraud doing it for charity...I always thought doing something for sponsorship should involve a great labour, or overcoming a fear of something....not something you actually like!
Anyhoo, I've stated to put together vague plans for a long cycle next year. Glasgow to Inverness, and then back down along the side of Loch Ness. About 250 miles, ish? Plenty of time to train if anyone wants to hop on board!0 -

Am tempted! I did this one in July, thoroughly enjoyed it tho' scary, and no charity involved. Anyway, enjoy your trip, let us know how it went.
16 AFDs for me Shaggy. And how about a smiley?
hs...nothing to see here...0
