Hi Sian and Clara  good to have you back on board (iykwim :D), good luck with your new AF ventures :)

Shaggy, no change here I'm afraid.

I will however be AF today, tonight is the biggest social ocassion in the school year and I've organised the whole thing from scratch  it's taken me 6 weeks of preparation, invite writing, flower organising, refreshment buying and now panicking to get to today. I've have over £200s worth of nibbles in my car, from crisps and juice to bombay mix. I will be holding 2 receptions, 1 before the main event for the dignatories (sp?), staff and VIPs and then one after for the parents and anyone else that cares to join in. It won't finish till gone 10pm by which time I will be completely exhausted and hopefully will come straight home and fall into bed knowing it's over :rotfl:

    Wish me luck

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Morning all!

GOOD LUCK JO!! Sounds like a lot of hard work. Am sure it will all go really well.

    Welcome back to any returners!

Last couple of free days before Piglet starts school so I'm letting him lay in. He will have to get up at about 7am as of Thursday. And so will I!! An alarm is in order I think....haven't used one for nearly 5 years!

Wanted to go and join slimming world today but I think the meeting for Newbies lasts about and hour and a half. Not sure if Piglet would sit still quietly for that amount of time. May have to wait till he's started school next week.:( I'm a real gung ho person - when I get the idea to do something I want to do it NOW....so not happy!:rotfl:

Succumbed to 2 glasses of wine last night (Out-laws drove me to it....honest!) so still on the same please Shaggy.

Good morning everyone and well done to AFers.....lots of peeps doing really well.:T

Jo...I am worn out just thinking about what you have to do today:eek:....Good luck...hope everything goes smoothly.:)

Miss Piggy....I went back to my SW class yesterday and had put on 4 pounds:o....It wasnt so bad though....I expected more.
I think you should go today if you feel ready to start losing some weight.......dont put off till tomorrow etc....;)
I think most classes are child friendly. There are toys and colouring books etc at our class and everyone is very tolerant of the kiddies.

Diable.....good luck with giving up alcohol.I must admit I sometimes still get that little voice telling me that after all this time surely one glass of wine wont hurt, but I know deep down where that one would lead and I never want to go there again;)

Good luck for today everyone and Take care of YOU

  • Morning everyone!

Congrats for those who stayed AF over the weekend and yesterday.

I didn't manage to stay AF so much, so my total so far for September AFD's is 3 please Shaggy.

I am feeling pretty good today and had a good day yesterday too. We have had 2 viewings of the house, but no offers yet. I've done both viewings and I am glad I did, because they have helped me deal with the fact that this house is now a thing for selling and it's going to be gone at some point, hopefully in the near future.

I drank loads on Sunday, as I had another "dickie fit" type melt-down and I do regret it, but it's done now. I stayed sober yesterday and I will be sober all week now, as I start my part time job today - EEEEKKKKKK!! I am very nervous!

So I better get off now and get presentable and iron my shirt and get into work mode :D.

Hugs to all and have a lovely day.

  • shaggy hey lovely I'm on 5 AFD's

Had a bit of an emotional collapse last night which involved having some wine later, I'm off work for a few day's now until I feel a bit better.

Good luck Cazza and Jo by the sound of it! xxx
