    :hello:

Hope you're OK fay, not like you to stay off work. Please look after yourself.

Good luck with the event jo, you're a star.

Hope your first shift at new job goes well cazza. It sounds as if you're doing well getting your head ito the right place for dealing with stuff.

I'm still procrastinating about SW MissP and MP. I've never done it (or any other diet programme) before. I think I need to go to a newbies meeting and hear what it's all about. I assume you can go to one meeting and don't have to pay for a whole term or something? My problem is that OH and I have a comfortable liefestyle where we share the cooking. I don't want to rock the boat and end up doing everything myself. Selfish or what:o

Welcome to returning folks and hugs to those finding it hard at the moment.

    3AF please shaggy.

(I'm planning on piggin' out at a carvery tonight. No wonder I need to diet!)

    Have a good day all.

No no no.Mr MP eats and cooks everything that I eat....The secrets in how you cook things....just little tweeks here and there.
There are some lovely SW recipes that taste no different/or better than usual ones and they all use normal ingredients. It really is magic.:D
And you can even pig out at the carvery and still lose weight.;)

I'm another shred ignorant person - will do a google on it later...

Another AF day for me yesterday. although I was tempted whilst doing my homework, so thats 3 now Shaggy thanks

Good luck for tonight Jo, it sounds quite daunting but I'm sure you have it all under control.
Nice to see other returnees too - glad I'm not the only slacker backslider in the village. We'll all get there in the end, and it's lovely to have good company on the way.

As an aside, I did the demotivator thingy for my morning coffee - takes me three weeks to earn that in a year

off to my first ever football match tonight - wish me luck!

  • Afternoon folks,

    hope you're all well.

If my bank are to be believed, I should be getting my £700 back today or tomorrow. This will go some way towards helping me find a flat in the next 2 weeks because at least I'll be able to pay a holding deposit. To this end, I'm seeing 3 places today all of which sound really nice so fingers crossed I will be able to sort something out and by the end of the week I will have a flat to move into come September 20th and my money rightfully returned to me by my bank.

on the flipside, I appear to have fractured two ribs and they are causing me a considerable amount of pain. I am going to have x-rays done tomorrow and will be surviving on a diet of ibuprofen for the time being. shame really because I wanted to do some rowing this week and lots of trips have been planned but I'll have to drop out for at least a week.

I really hope the pain subsides by sunday, it's my birthday and I'd quite like to celebrate it without being crippled by pain, if that's not too much to ask.
    jusqu'ici tout va bien

Just looking, thank goodness, although if I were playing I'd probably be put in goal casue I'm carp at everything else.

ETA, ow ow ow BP, cracked ribs really hurt. you should see if the Doc can give you something a little stronger than ibuprofen.

  • Hi all,

SL I think you have made the correct decision re your ex. Good luck.

C13 Welcome back and keep strong re af.

RA I love your pertinent interventions, You are right,as ever.

Jo Good luck for tonight, everything crossed for you.

Cazz Hope the house sale goes ahead, well done re af.

I was determined to be af yesterday and was fine till I realised I had a 7pm appointment with doctor. Driving home at 7.45 I had the usual debate in my head. To stop at offie or not. I did'nt even want a drink but the that's what I do mentality kicked in and the demon won.

I WILL be af today. There is a good reason, the 2nd Eng/pak twenty20 starts 6pm. I don,t want to fall asleep and miss it.

    Good luck everyone.
