  • Good Evening ladies and gents.

Called my local 'Independent Advocacy Service' earlier and spoke to a very friendly and helpful chap.

My 'pathways to work' advisor had done as she'd promised and had referred me to them yesterday.

So, the advocacy boss will call me on Friday.

I'll be assigned an advocate who'll represent me at the ESA Appeal tribunal.

Feel a lot better after having a chat with this guy!

Am still preparing paperwork for the Appeal hearing. Trying to put nerves out of my mind and stay calm and positive.

Have been rejigging my CV too.

Bit low earlier (wishing I'd never lost my old job) but sober. Trying to aim for a middle ground and look to the future, as opposed to the old highs and lows :)

Coming up 4 1/2 weeks sober. Feels good.

    Cheers,

    Sim x

    Hello,

Sim - you are doing great, keep it up!

Fay - lots of good wibes coming your way from down south (sorry don't know what it is in Scottish) :)

All the returners - lovely to meet you and great to see you all very positive :T

    Anybody else - HELLO!!!

I sent an email to ex that I have now finished with him and I don't want him to have anyting to do with me or DD. It is such a relief. It might sound very harsh for stopping DD seeing her dad but I have thought about it very hard and thorough and this is the best thing. He was mentally and emotionally abusive to me when we were together and now it seems that he is starting to do his manipulation and lying to DD as well. I simply can't accept that. Obviously now I just need to wait and see what he is going to do next but those steps will be taken as and when necessary.

In the meanwhile my study materials have arrived for my next exams. After I saw how much there is to go through I am now very happy that I opted to do only two. There is no room for slacking. My original plan was to study 5 days per week but it seems that this won't leave me enough time for revision.

Almost forgot: 7 please Shaggy :)
