welcome allsorts Well that made me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Miss P!

I know what you mean about the control, but what I meant is that I virtually don't drink - perhaps 1 glass of wine a year and even then I'll probably only drink 1/2 of it!
BUT alcohol has always controlled my life because of my father and his lifelong battle (he lost) with alcohol.

In all seriousness DD, thank you so much for posting. I had to turf DD1 off the pooter to reply properly as you had me with tears in my eyes but laughing reading your posts.

Just because you haven't a 'problem' with alcohol doesn't mean you should worry about posting, we love chatting to all and sundry and to be honest (as you prob know) we don't talk about alcohol much :D.

There are a number of posters on this thread that have been affected by alcoholism, whether it be a family member or a friend and so there is lots of support for you here.

It's also, (for me), like a breath of fresh air to read the thoughts, worries, rants etc from somebody that doesn't drink (in this way) but is affected by it. We have had other posters on here that have had very very sad stories to tell and it does put it all into perspective.

Thanks again for posting. Well done on the smoking front :T you have proved that it's possible (4 weeks and 6 days worth of proof :T) xx

Well there you go then....the element of control that alcohol had over so many lives is evident there....in my eyes you are a non drinker...but still acohol plays a part in your life?

Anyway....on a lighter note...stick around.....fun lot here...just watch out for Yellowmonkey and his dodgy pictures!!:rotfl::rotfl:
