Going anywhere nice NRA? xx
Going to stay with my friend at the coast and do some visiting.
As they say a change is as good as a rest so looking forward to the break.
Will also need to get to see mum and dad in Suffolk again sometime soon.
Watching the pennies this year but know we will have a good time together.
Am I right in thinking I saw you post you have booked next years hols?

Have dropped DD off to spend day with her dad. I lost my temper with him again and obviously DD was upset because I was angry and was clinging on to him. I think I might have difficulties getting her to come home this evening.
I was thinking about having some sherry tonight and if it gave my ex a hangover then I would do it but unfortunately the one with the head ache would be me. So have stocked up with chocolate and am now polishing off some posh pasta with posh ham.
Better get cracking with stuff to do as I don't have much time until I need to go and fetch DD. Oh joy! I so wish I could use a proxy for these situations - any volunteers?

I've booked one of them, over in BHB land. I plan to book another for the week before as well. We'll only tell the kids about the first one and then when they are all misty eyed and sad in the car when we leave the place to 'go home' we'll drive half hour up the road into another camp and stay for another week as a surprise
Looking out for a decent bargain for the 2nd one at the moment :money:newroadahead wrote: »Right off for a shower and change then round to friends (going to look in Butchers for some late deals) and back to hers for X Factor.....lol how sad am I.
Sounds perfect to me girl
I'm sat here with tears in my eyes.....DS is playing a game on the Xbox 360 and has been trying for days to get past a particular level...he just made it and was presented with a medal at the end by one of the characters and he started crying with happiness!!DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Marru - Hope things are ok later
Jo - Re your son, that's very sweet. I've spent the last couple of hours getting far too engrossed in the best game of all time on my PS2 - 'Metal Gear Solid 2 - Sons of Liberty'. It cost me the grand total of 95p (after my PayPal balance from surveys..) yesterday, and arrived this morning! I now need to jump in the shower, clean up my kitchen a bit, get some grub, and get to the shop and back before my Girlfriend arrives.
Marru - you've inspired me to go and get some chocolate! Double Decker and a Turkish Delight here I come..
I need my chocolate fix to celebrate 4 weeks sober
Off to get out of my dressing gown for the first time today!
Cheers,
Sim x

I managed to pick him up a Spongebob game on DS and Xbox 360 this week on ebay.....the DS game came yesterday, totally mint with all the bits in tact and cost me £1.95, the Xbox one was a fiver :money: one for xmas and one for his birthday in Nov
ETA: DD2 has just brought me an array of recipe books so that I can choose myself something to make as OH is out tonight and I said I was going to treat myself to something yummy
Oh and I'm going down to Mr T's now to pick up a shoulder of pork, I've had 2 people tell me via PM that they are making it tomorrow, so I think I really need to :rotfl:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
OMG OMG OMG I've just opened a book that was given to me as a leaving present from my old job in April (first time I've opened it
). It's a good ole Jamie O book
- first page I opened was a slow-roasted pork belly recipe that you cook for 3-4 hours then turned the page and it was a OVERNIGHT SLOW-ROASTED PORK - 9 - 12 hours
