Cup of Chai - what was the hotel called? I need to book one for a girly weekend so a recommendation would be good!

It was the Ambassadors, Bloomsbury. Within walking distance of King's Cross station so very handy. Lovely place, our twin room was a bit on the small side but it's what you expect for that type of room really, but what sort of budget have you got for this girly weekend, the normal rates they had posted up by the desk looked like it was nearly 300 quid a night for a double!

It was booked through Booking.com I think it was called, see if you can get some good rates on there or one of the other sites and just use Tripadvisor to check out if the place is any good before you hit book?

Souk, I nearly am. Currently live in what seems to be a commuter town in Hertfordshire, as there's a train runs fairly regularly into the City and I see them all hotfooting it down to the station and lining up on the platform in the mornings. Hope you have fun with your friend, I've decided I love London, well visiting it at least! Pack light layers and a brolly, that'll see you right for all weathers surely, and you need to be able to remove if needs be as you may already be aware that the Tube is baking at this time of year!
