OK, I know I've been absent for several days, strange weekend...

I have loads of pages to catch up on, and an outing, sorry I couldn't make it.

I had an NSD on Friday and another on Sunday which takes me up to 3!!!!

I spent a large sum of money in C*stco but that should do me for the month.

I will catch up tonight and declare today as NSD no 4.

Today's already been a spend day, because it's such a miserable London morning!

I got water sprayed from the road from a passing bus right outside my flat, and then that same bus wouldn't let me on because it was full. And I have some real mundane work to do today when I get to work.

So I bought PRET Chocolate Moose and Very Berry Bowl for breakfast! And I don't feel even slightly guilty :D
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

Wow, I'm pages behind! I don't think I'll have chance to catch up so I hope you're all doing well and those NSDs are mounting up :D

Well, our decorating weekend went ok but we didn't get as much done as we hoped and of course we found there were several bits that we needed :( so Saturday was a SD but Sunday was NSD no 2 and yesterday was NSD no 3 - YAY!

It was a rubbish day yesterday though, it started off with finding DH had left the freezer door open overnight Sunday so everything was semi defrosted. Then after defrosting the freezer properly and cleaning it out - it's now not working  It was one that we inherited with the house but as it's a fridgefreezer built in to cupboards we were hoping it would last until we put a new kitchen in!

I'm hoping for a better day today :) lots of cooking to use up the freezer food. Have a good day all.

I wouldn't dare risk locking my purse/cards in the car - especially as we had a leaflet from the local police just last week suggesting we leave glove boxes open to show there's nothing in them (been a run of vehicle break-ins around us according to the leaflet)

We are not too bad around here. Plus if anyone ever did nick my purse there is not much in it and the cards are pretty much full...and insured!
Thanks for the warning though. I figure the benefit to my bank balance from detaching myself from electronic money at home far outweighs the risk from theft though. I only ever lost one purse and that was when I got mugged by a taxi driver in the Senegal many moons ago. (and I had already drank my beer tokens)

Thanks, the good news was that someone had already done the mundane work that I had to do this morning when I got in! So that was a nice surprise!

Eeek about getting sprayed by a bus! I was a very careful driver today along the embankment as didn't want to get pedistrians or cyclists!

Today WILL be a NSD - breakfast lunch and supper all ready got, do not need diesel SO NO SPEND and I've said it now so I need to stick to it!

    Hope everyone else is ok?

    xx

    Morning all!
After my NSD yesterday I'm going to have to spend today - flea prevention treatment for the dog (its flea season and he's due a topup treatment).
As an aside - for those of you with dogs, try the new line at Pets at Home called Fiproline (its a spot on type thing). Its made just for the store and has the same ingredients as Frontline but is quite a bit cheaper - works for my pooch too.

I don't need anything else but may treat myself to a can of Diet Pepsi - I have cut right down from 2 or 3 cans a day to a couple a week.

I really need to try to find some ways to make a bit of extra cash this month so will spend some time investigating that. I haven't been paid since June 3rd and my savings are dwindling fast! Hopefully I'll get paid for all of teh supply teaching I did on Friday this week but the overdraft of a few hundred pounds I've acquired recently is worrying me and needs to go again leaving me with just the remnants of a loan to pay and a CC balance.

Right enough thinking out loud........ have a good day!

Ugh I wish I had read your post about the flea treatment! I took my doglet on Friday to the vets to see the nurse about a little problem she has (not nice so I won;t go into it) and I had to get her worming tablets and ended up getting Advocat for her and my cats (3 cats - 2 under 5 K and one over 5K) so ended up getting 3 lots and a worming tablet for the dog and her treatment so came away spending £75! What a joke, but at least they are all sorted for a while!!

Extra money - have you done a boot fair? I don't do many but do a few and it really helps?
