No 3/15 today
Not doing aswell as hoped, hospital car park fees... say no more  MIL is still in isolation with MRSA and today we were told she has to spend at least another 5 weeks in isolation. No clothes only a hospital gown, no mags or newspapers, sweet, biscuits or chocs, no flowers and no grandchildren. I think I would end up in the looney bin if I had to spend so much time alone with nothing to do but look out of a window.
OMG! That sounds like total purgatory to me. Your poor MIL - I truly feel for her - and you with the car park fees, it's daylight robbery! Hope she's on the mend soon.

Morning all!
Unfortunately yesterday was a low spend day as I got stung for buying the papers and rolls! Only £3 so not too bad! Better than going to a cafe and buying coffees and bacon rolls as we planned to do after dropping sis & BIL off.We just came home and made our own, very MSE:money:
I spent yesterday in the garden on my comfy chair reading my book, lovely! Didnt even cook a dinner, just had some filled rolls and salad as neither of us felt like anything cooked so it was a smashing day!
Caught up on Sherlock, had recorded the first two episodes, thought it was excellent.:T
Today I'm off to get my bloods done at the surgery, then small spends - catlitter, kitchen roll and yogurt.
I'm about to put a chilli in the SC for tea tonight so I will be back later !
Have a lovely day everyone:)

Spoon, no MIL isnt allowed to have anything, everything has the potential to have germs that could make her worse. When we visit we have to use gel to hand wash, put gloves on and then an apron but we are not allowed to touch her so no cuddles or kisses. When she needs the loo shes not even allowed to clean herself, it has to be done by a nurse with a special bodywash.... shes almost 75 and being washed intimately by female and male nurses, she feels embarrassed.
JintyB, thanks for you kind wishes, im sure if i had to spend so much time doing nothing, i would be climbing the walls and then being carried off by the men in white coats!!!***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0 -

Hi all, Not had time to catch up yet but want to add another nsd to my total. It was my cousin's birthday night out on Saturday and I'd not been out all day, I was determined to make a nsd so I managed to avoid buying a round until after midnight lol
Got in at 5 am, but boy does it take a long time to recover these days hehe.
Will try and read the rest of the posts later, if I don't start on the housework now I never will0 -
Morning all!
Yesterday turned out to be a LSD instead of a NSD - bought a can of pop and a few small bits in the corner shop - needed supplies to keep me going whilst doing a load of school work.:o
All came to less than a fiver so could have been worse.
Today WILL be a NSD - I'm determined.
I have to pop to town for some school supplies (folders etc) but have put £10 aside for it and its planned and budgeted so it doesn't count for me.
As long as I stick to that I'll be happy and declaring a NSD.
Will report back later.0 -
Morning all hope you are all well. Have brought cakes for us all to share. Decided to be different so put a square of caramel chocolate in the middle for a gooey center yummy.Barclaycard 3800

Karen - I really feel for what you and your family are going through, your poor MIL. I guess the only comfort is that every new morning is a day closer to her getting better. At least they have diagnosed the MRSA, my poor MIL contracted it too after a hip replacement and it went untreated for ages, hip replacement had to come out due to infection and now she's reliant on a zimmer and wheel chair.
Spoony - I am happy to report NSD #4 yesterday - WHOOO!!! Today will be a spendy day as I have some bit and pieces to get in town but am quite chuffed I am now 50% of the way through my target already. :jFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
