Wow! that's impressive...and they say women are the sulkier half.... hope you're out of the dog house soon x
I dont think I'm in the dog house - he's sulking cos he knows i'm right and he's wrong, and he can't/won't admit it!! He's just better at carrying the sulking on for longer than I can so I normally back down - feeling quite determined this time though! xxTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
I wish I hadn't married a man who can sulk for over a week!! :mad:Cheryl0

well today is NSD no 3
actually quite unintentionally! i stayed in and did some housework...so glamorous! xx0 -
Ladies I am begging for your guidance.
I'm 30 weeks pregnant and since about 8pm (the Spar shut at 10pm) I have been resisting the urge to go out and get some Maltesers. It's taking over my brain!!! I swear I might DIE of obsession or something, I neeeeeeeeeeeeed Maltesers.... Got to have Maltesers.... MUST. Nothing else will do, only Maltesers. I thought if I could outwait the Spar and eat some other stuff it'd help- I was wrong!
Please please help, I urgently need an answer to this question...
If I go to the 24h garage (11 miles away but we'll ignore that fact for now) and get some Maltesers at 1 minute past midnight can I please please still count today as an NSD?
I am truly suffering here!!!I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

Hannah - just go to bed and sleep until a more local (and probably cheaper) shop is open in the morning
(And I totally sympathise with you - it was Smarties for me with DD who's now almost 27!)Cheryl0 -
Notched up NSD number 5 today.
Hannah, you can survive without the maltesers. I often have urges for something (edible) at bizarre times of the evening/night and i don't even have the excuse of being pregnant. Last week i had this 'i have to have Sunrise BBQ flavoured rice crackers' urge. I probably would have driven 11 miles for them too if i knew anywhere that sold them that would be open at that time of night....but actually i just ate something else and went to bed and fell asleep. You can do it!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
NSD Challenge: October 0/140 -
Hannah - I once refused to buy a drink on a night out (I was driving anyway) until after midnight so I wouldn't spoil my NSD!!Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0

Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Lots of NSDs rolling in again, well done everyone:j. Hope you all had a good weekend - another week starting tomorrow...
Welcome to:
IcklePickle: :hello:hi, yes of course you can join us, you’re very welcome. Signing you up for 20 now and good luck. Keep posting, that seems to be the secret of success here and please feel free to join in with any of our nonsense chat, ask any questions, and join in with our outings if you’d like to. We’re a friendly bunch on here, though slightly insane at times, and a surreal sense of humour definitely helps
Welcome back :
AllieBallie: :hello:hi and welcome back, sorry I thought you had already signed up as well or I would have nagged you a bit more... Signing you up for 12 now, small steps are the way to go, definitely. Keep up with the spending diary, that definitely helps. :jWell done for the 3 you’ve got so far - brilliant start to the month - keep going
Dorastar: :hello:hi and welcome back, good to see you again. Signing you up for 8 now and well done for no 1 so far. :j Hope the camping holiday was good?

:jSequeena: yay to no 3, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going
:jBigMumma: yay to no 4, you’re doing great there.
Hmm... delicate decorum, not so sure about that, what about that poor policeman in Edinburgh, don’t think he’s been the same since you got him on Arthur’s Seat with your lawnmower.....
:jsofababe: yay to no 4, you’re doing brilliantly. Keep decorating, you don’t need the Body Shop body butters, really... you don’t need them

Update: and well done for no 2 today
:jkarenccs67: yay to no 3, but so sorry to hear about MIL, 5 weeks in isolation is dreadful.... Is she allowed an ipod, MP3 player, something like that so that she can listen to music or something like the recorded books? That might just save her from going mad if she is
:jBDINI: oops, didn’t mean to drive over your head, sorry, got a bit confused between left and right at one stage........
Yay to no 4 today - paper and pencil are much better than those planner things, they’re a pain...
