if you use petrol does that mean it's not a NSD, or does it only count as spend if you top up that day?

Taking it logically no, the using of petrol can't count because nothing is free. On a NSD you will still need to use electric (the freezer can't be unplugged), you will have to eat and drink something (even tap water costs money), you will likely watch TV, listen to the radio or read a book (all of which are paid for in advance), you will feed and clean out your pets (dog food and cat litter also cost). So using things that cost money is pretty inevitable really. It's just buying them that I count as a no-no.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

    morning all!

well i most definitely didn't manage a NSD yesterday, supermarket shop, and i caused chaos at the tills with my vouchers:o:o:o:o it always seems to go wrong for me, even if they are for the correct items and in date....it's enough for me to stop using vouchers, i can't take the shame...but must persist for the bank balance!!

i hope you all have a lovely day...i don't have major plans but i am making a shepherds pie later :):):) xx

ps if you use petrol does that mean it's not a NSD, or does it only count as spend if you top up that day? there aren't that many days when i don't drive (bad i know, but i live quite a way from work and parents) thanks
    xx

    Hi conf
Oh dear to the supermarket queue, I know how you feel, it's soooooo embarrassing:o:o:o

I only count days when I actually spend money so, although I'm using petrol I'm not actually spending money buying it - the same applies to utilities, as others have said.

    Hope that's OK now?

Well, thanks to Woger and his Wange Wover I managed to escape a good bashing up and having my collar felt by the long arm of the law. The last thing I recollect was seeing a donkey with an orange face, a Burberry hat and stilettos, so hope everyone got back ok.

A spendy day for me today - is it just me or are Mr T's "whoopsies" going up in price? I got a lump of pork fillet from the W shelf which will be turned into pork and mushrooms in a cream sauce. Another NSD coming soon...
