Morning all,
Thanks for the warm welcome :j
It was a NSD for me yesterday which totals 4 so far in Augustand aiming for another NSD today as we are not going out anywhere as we have quite a few things to do in the house.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

Morning all! I missed your escapades last night - good job too judging by the state of a few of you - am very jealous really! You are all certifiable.
Yesterday was shopping day and I managed a good haul and saved loads - used a £10 Mr S voucher, £5 worth of Nectar points and a 50p car park redeem to get my Mr S bill down from £65 to £49:j
Then went to Mr T and swapped a £5 Clubcard voucher for a £10 dog food voucher and managed to get at least a couple of weeks worth of food and chews etc for just £1 ish!
Very happy with that!
Also went on a National Trust walk with OH and dog and spent just £2 on the carpark and resisted an icecream. BUT we did go for a nice curry in the evening and I owe OH my half (about £15) still so will have to pay that today (will count it as yesterday though).
Today I have no plans to spend money - lots of housework, school work and dog walking to be done - but you never know - will try hard though!0 -
Hya all
Sorry I didn't make it up the alley last night...shattered after helping DS2 in next-door's garden. Then had to get tea sorted, with DH coming in from his day-trip to London @ 9, so got his tea for him then.
Looks like you had a fab time...when's the next night out then?? Hopefully I will manage to make it.
Right, off to paint the kitchen ceiling (again) before priming a shelf, then it's off out to the garden.
Enjoy the good weather today everyone
Oh, before I forget, NSD no 5 today!! :j

mea Culpa Mea Culpa!!!
it was so nice of Spoon to pick ups up and take us to BDINI's back passage but due to a slight overexcitement with a couple of wine bottles during my wee outing with OH, I slipped quietly alseep at the back of the Tardis and missed all the fun, never did actually get to see the back passage or any of the gear! Did sort of surface at one point and people were speaking a strange language, thought we'd popped over to Norway or Lithuania, so had another wee snooze. Hubert sadly did not make it thtough the evening without benefit of the shovel, and the Tardis will need another wee clean through Spoon. Will return it for the next night out as I seem to be in sole possession, where are you all, still up BDINI's back passage? pooters off to find a recycling bin for the cider bottles and a field for the poo........just another Sunday really.........don't anybody ever say I am hard to understand as I have a perfectly intelligible Scottish accent, och aye the noo, ye ken whit am sayin Beanie?
By the way as OH very kindly paid for the binge yesterday, I actually got a NSD, some kind of miracle.More than Two Years in

morning all!
well i most definitely didn't manage a NSD yesterday, supermarket shop, and i caused chaos at the tills with my vouchers:o:o:o:o it always seems to go wrong for me, even if they are for the correct items and in date....it's enough for me to stop using vouchers, i can't take the shame...but must persist for the bank balance!!
i hope you all have a lovely day...i don't have major plans but i am making a shepherds pie laterxx
ps if you use petrol does that mean it's not a NSD, or does it only count as spend if you top up that day? there aren't that many days when i don't drive (bad i know, but i live quite a way from work and parents) thanks
xx0 -

I'm getting my bum in gear right now! Spoon - please put me down for 12 this month (I only just realised i hadn't given you my target yet!) 12 isnt a big jump from 10 but baby steps are the way for me
So far August has been a little spendy (new bed and mattress - but its so comfy so it's ok!), at the end of the month my little Nephew is celebrating his first birthday and i have some Ed Fringe stuff coming up so i need to be careful about all my NSDs!
I've managed 3 NSDs so far (1st, 3rd and 5th) but im a bit worried about where the others will come from! The spending diary I'm doing has cut out a lot of the junk so hopefully I'll have a lot more NSDs in the coming monthsThose that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0 -

I think you can set your own rules for what you class as a spend or no spend day but personally i count days where i top up the tank as 'spendies' as i have to use the car every day i go to work and also for visiting my family etc. Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0
