thanks AllieBallie, it will just be top up days or it'll never work for me - love your avatar pic by the way0 -

That's the same as what i count other wise the maximum NSDs I could achieve in a month would be 8 (only the weekends!)
I thought the cookie monster was fairly accurate for me as I'm always eating all the cakes that GeeBee puts out over on the Notice to Newcomers part 8 thread!luckily they're all calorie free so it's ok to eat the (im on a diet!)!!

There's only one commercially available brand of cider that I like, another that is passable but apple juice of choice is definitely rough farm scrumpy  I had a couple of [STRIKE]gallons[/STRIKE] bottles ready to bring, but as I told Peach I got the milk cartons mixed up & brought the cold tea for watering the tomatoes :doh:There was no way I was going to break an NSD for that, so I'm up to 4 now I thinkWish I had been on the sauce, cuz I woke up with a PITA, a crick in me neck & hardly any sleep at all; those air-beds are very thin aren't they..the one I had was barely an inch thick

Getting my bike has been a blessing....Only thing is that I'm v v saddle sorebut wish I could. Same with swimming, except then I do a very good impression of the Titanic slowly disappearing below the surface...
Echoing AllieB's comments on making your own rules as to what is or is not a spend. I don't include the utilities, DDs etc but I do count food, petrol & the such. It works for me & you need to find a system that works for you. Good Luck fellow challengees & any questions, just ask. One or other--probably all--of us will have come across your query at some stage!

I don't count drive days either, only top up days - otherwise you'd kinda be counting twice, one day for the top up, then another for when you use the petrol that you've already counted as a spendy...
Sounds like lots of chilled Sunday's all round. Me having a chilled one too - pottering around the house and trying to get into work mode for tomorrow - boooo! Still the sun is shining, the cat is looking uber cute curled up on the sofa snoozing and our garden is looking lovely and summery so all is well in the world:):)
Still need to work out spendys for yesterday, and still considering that top I've been coverting - if I wait until tomorrow I could have a NSD today...but by then it might be OOS :eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Another NSD for me today :j I live on the edge of a small town and the local shop closes at 12 on a Sunday and Asda is too far to walk even if I needed anything, which I don't!! So YAY to me!!!!
Better get back to that decorating, its helping to keep my mind of the BodyShop 2 for £15 Body Butters :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Right well normal Hannah-ness is resumed, boyfriend rather delightfully responded to the total paddy with a takeaway, how thoughtful! Ten out of ten that man! :T:T:T
Sorry to have missed the night out, you wouldn't have wanted to see my quad skills anyway! But it's OK becasue I'm still better than the God of gorgeousness and all things quick that is James Toseland. There's a bit of a story to that one...
One of my best mates is a wheelchair user and married to the navy, which is fine- until he's on ship for 6 months and she's got 2 teenage boys and a primary school girl to entertain. There are only so many totally flat activities out there! Enter Aunty Hannah to take the middle lad quadding in the summer hols...
There's me thinking I've got driving licences for both bigger and smaller machines than a quad, it's off road, I'm no stranger to mud, heck I've even thrashed his mums mobility scooter for a laugh before now, how hard can it be to kick a 13 year olds rear round a track indeed?
WRONG!
I was shyyyyyyte. Shyyyyyyte with six Y's! Yes that bad! Our 13 year old quad bike hero was off the practice track in 3 laps and out on the open mudway. Muggins here, all full of bravado and "I bet you a fiver" type recklessness was only let off of the practice track on lap nine because the queue was getting too long. Oh the humiliation!Next up after me was a nine year old - again three laps.
Out on the track was, if anything, worse. I spent more time heaving it out of ruts and swearing at it for being unresponsive than I did riding the blasted thing! And the stupid thumb-throttle, what sadist invented that???
Eventualy time mercifully ran out and the indignity of being lapped by possibly the most cavalier 13 year old ever brought into existance came to an end! No more "eat my dust Hannah hahahahahaaaaa" to live with every time the small cocky demon flew on by another time!
The one saving grace of this story? As I dismounted the worthless four-wheeled pile of South-Asian humillaition I was approached by no less than all 4 of the (also young-adult male) staff... "You're a biker aren't you" "er yeah" says I hessitantly, "ha, knew it! Bikers are always sh*t", "er, Oh-kay", "look Love don't worry about it, we had James Toseland here last summer, he was only slightly more sh*t than you"! :rotfl:
So obviously my total inability with a quad is because I am a supremely good biker and anytime now I will be the first girl in World Superbikes and showing the delectable JT a good view of [STRIKE]my rear end[/STRIKE]... Um um I mean the bikes rear end!
You wouldn't get me back on a quad again without at least 3 litres of Stella and a twenty quid dare!
Which is why it's probably good that I missed the chav outing!!!!!! :rotfl:I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

confused76 wrote: »ps if you use petrol does that mean it's not a NSD, or does it only count as spend if you top up that day? there aren't that many days when i don't drive (bad i know, but i live quite a way from work and parents) thanks
