I can eat things with them cooked in though which is why I buy them - just not sure why I have so many
(The dislike of beans is a 37 year-old psychological block I recognise but can't get past. The dislike of tomatoes is due to them being the only thing to make me throw up when I was expecting DD 27 years ago!)
Also guilty of the tuna, but at least that will get used once DS moves out (he's the one who doesn't like that!)
I loathe baked beans which is, of course, why I have 10 tins of them lingering in my cupboard. OH loves them but is only allowed to eat them when I'm not around.
And you're right, Jo, ba$ics spaghetti is definitely a dangerous weapon:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Even though I'm no longer including the budgetted spends, it's now the 4th and I've still not had a NSD, though today is looking good. Nearly had a NSD yesterday, but we ordered a pizza at the last minute! That's 2 takeaways in 3 days... which is terrible.
This challenge really makes me feel guilty about spending, which is both a good thing and a bad thing in my opinion. It stops me spending on stuff I don't need, but I beat myself up about it if I do let myself slip::: Total Paid Since LBM (27/05/10): £4639.85 Official Debt Gone!! :T ::::AThat money talks, I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"~ VSP2011: #104 ~

declaring NSD 2 - saving it all for a spendy day tomorrow. Badly need a new handbag as one of my lovely cats has peed on mine - it was only a £3 from tesco so I'm not too upset. So glad I don't need expensive handbags or more than one handbag.0

:hello: Hi all NSD'ers
And thank you again for all the lovely messages and thoughts. I was back at work today and don't know if it helped or not, managed to keep busy though which was good but it was strange getting up this morning and not taking him out and even stranger coming home, I had left things out and they were where I had left them . he should be mithering me now for a walk and I don't quite know what to doIt still feels surreal being here at home
Think I'll go and wash the bedding or something, maybe look out the old sewing kit and patch some jeans..........not been able to do that for years as I would have to finish everything I started as I couldn't leave needles and thread lying about
Thank you all for making me laugh with the weapons of choice for sorting out a disaster!! Made me giggle which was goodand bad news about the 20somethings PDD.
Glad to hear yours are both on the mend JintySorry to hear about work though
. Hope the anxiety passes TMV xx
Sequeena, hope you have a lovely time at your meal out, you deserve it xx
Managed number 2 today, couldn't have faced shops anyway. I still need something for Friday but will do that tomorrow after work and can get some leccy at the same time.
Thanks again for all the thoughts
I'm sure I will be in later xx

Kathy glad to hear you could manage a day at work. I think the worst thing about losing pets is that they are part of your daily routine that you very much look forward to - so when you lose that you feel lost.0

No 2 for me today, yay!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

Glad you managed work to-day Kathy, just take care of yourself, it will take a while.
OK was a spendy day to-day but out on a company journey tomorrow so will be functioning on the company CC!!!
We seem to be developing a bit of a countrywide fetish for chopped tomatoes, hmm what sort of disaster could be fixed by tinned tomatoes?
By the way baked beans make me gag as well, its the sauce, its orrible!!!More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0 -
Oooh ! I love bean juice!!! I buy the cheap ones just so there's extra juice!:rotfl:
On the NSD front - I'm declaring number 2!
Am bored stiff at home and its a real struggle to not just go to the shop for something to do - today I've tidied out my wardrobe and chest of drawers just to have something to occupy me! I did need to do it so I suppose its a good job done.
I think I need to buy some mushrooms for tea tomorrow so I'm not sure that it'll be a NSD but I may rejig the meal plan to try to avoid it.0 -

There's always PJ's to save a spendy day.... the chav's round here seem to be quite happy up the alley in pj's & trainers with their cider!!!!! (odd choice when it's raining mind :rotfl:)
Am finally over the moon to declare NSD 1 :j:j
& am already making up a long list of excuses to get out of yet another team lunch tomorrow, as i will not waste a NSD when i'd be quite happy with a home made sarnie... thank goodness for living next door to work & constantly moaning about the DIY, think that will make a fab excuse!!!!!
Spoon, thanks for the encouragement with the walking, which wasn't as bad as i thought, so am thinking of making it a regular thing, but still taking the bus fare off my travel budget & paying it onto a card immediately... will certainly save me wasting it on rubbish & if i get fit too, well :j:j
Well done for all your NSD's, when i can get 20 i'll be the happiest girl alive!!!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
