If one feels rather rich, one can have one's butler follow this link:

If only one did have a butler and could afford one........they'd do the ironing, hoovering, dusting and pass me the truffles!!:D:p"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

Hi everyone, weather has been mad today here too ~ rainy and cloudy and dark 1 minute, then sunshiney and blue skies the next minute I can't keep up. Still I was stuck at work until about 10 mins ago anyway so its not like I could enjoy it
Another NSD to go onto my total for today please. Its my day off tomorrow, so that won't be a NSD, plus its payday and I'm sure its impossible not to be spending on such a happy day :rotfl:
Hope you all have a good evening x

Not so good Catherine.Hate to tell you it doesent get any easier.
I had one about 8 miles (by car, half that on foot) who was forever phoning/popping round - now lives best part of 40 miles away, but I still get the phone calls from her!!!
Another one lives/works in Germany, but I get phone calls from there as well - especially when he needs something, which is normally something posting out to him (or money, which I've stopped obliging with as I have less income than him now and don't get more than a token gesture back)
My youngest moves up by his sister in the next week or two, but I don't expect to hear from him at all..... I rarely hear more than a "when's tea" / "what's for tea" / "did you get any milk/ice-cream" from him even now
ETA: And no sooner had I posted this message than Number 1 child (her that's 40 miles away!) phoned me for a favourCheryl0 -
Hello all
NSD 11 for me today please Spoon. Stuck on spendy days with one elusive NSD to go for nearly a week:o. Good news is that we finish the month in the black and not the red for a change:T.
Going to try for two more New Target = 13 NSD please Spoon.
Best Wishes all

Hello everyone, hope you are all well despite filthy weather/financial problems/hassles from work or lack of work/family problems - so much bad news around nowadays, thank goodness for the MSE forums, that's what I say!
I will not make my target of 12 NSDs this month but I will carry on the crusade and hopefully do better next month.
We came back from holiday Sunday evening (seven days in Budapest, temperature 30 degrees plus every day, lovely but a bit of a shock to touch down at Heathrow at a temperature of 18 degrees!) Consequently some serious spending has been occurring in my neck of the woods. Listen to those cash registers go.....bailed the cat out of prison Monday (£60, ker-ching!) Got my car serviced and a couple of jobs done on it (£230 ker-ching!). Today stocked up on school uniform and school shoes for the boy (you really don't want to know, but it was a double ker-ching!). Dentist, mammoth Mr T delivery organised for Thursday - ker-ching ker-ching!
We have family visiting Thursday night for 4 days so I have meal planned like crazy. Four days of breakfasts, lunches, afternoon cakes and dinners for 4 adults, one 12 going on 45 year old and two toddlers. And the cat who, since release from prison, has been eating like there's no tomorrow (obviously the cattery don't feed him as much as we do, mind you, the fat git needs to lose a couple of hundred grammes or so) and fussing round us like crazy.
So, all is go in Nargleworld for the next few days...think I will need a holiday to get over it.......One life - your life - live it!0
