Hi lovely NSD gang :A
I can see I’m going to be awarding some pandas (actually, lots of pandas) this evening, well done everyone, and lots more of you are very nearly there.:j Maybe we should take some of them on our outing to jinty’s shed at the weekend:rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks for your good wishes, feeling a bit down in the dumps at the moment(weather is definitely not helping) but I’ll pick up again in a couple of days and normal service will be resumed:):)
Targets met:
BigMumma: :jwell done, 17 NSDs are now yours, target well and truly dusted now, that’s brilliant.:j Panda is somersaulting his way over to you now (might take him a while to arrive, he’s not exactly quick).;)
Increasing your target to 20 now, the penguin is waiting:)
Looloo: :j well done, 10 NSDs done and dusted and your target met, that’s brilliant. :j Panda is somersaulting his way over to you now (might take him a while to arrive though, so don’t wait up:D).
Do you want to increase your target now or stick at 10 and see if you get any extras?:)
jwil: :jwell done, 11 NSDs are now yours and your target demolished, that’s brilliant.:j Panda is somersaulting his way over to you now (but, as above, he’s not exactly quick:)).
Fingers crossed you can make no 12 - a tropical island awaits you if you do:D
3Dogs: :jyay, well done, 15 NSDs done and dusted and your target met, that’s brilliant. :j Panda is ambling his way over to you now (he’s a bit tired with all this somersaulting and tumbling now;)).
Increasing your target to 18 now, little penguin is waiting for you
Thanks hun, much apppreciated:A
Trinny: :jwell done, 11 NSDs are now yours and your target demolished, knew you could make it.:j Panda is somersaulting his way over to you now (he’ll probably make it sometime tomorrow:D).
Increasing your target to 13 now, little penguin is waiting for you
LfV: :j well done, 15 NSDs done and dusted and your target met, that’s brilliant.:j Panda is meandering over towards you now, but very, very slowly now, he’s done way too much tumbling and somersaulting tonight - sometime tomorrow I reckon.:D
Increasing your target to 18 now, good luck, little penguin is waiting:)
Well done to:
:jKeiss 21: Well done for no 14 - 2 more to get now, you can do it:)
:jchris81418: well done for no 15, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going. Incentives - you’ve got a tumbling panda to aim for, what more incentive do you want?;)

:jLa escocesa: well done for no 7, you’re doing brilliant, keep going:)
And hello to:
Keiss 21: September 11th sounds good to me, hopefully we’ll get some clear skies so the aliens can see their home planet and give us a guided tour.:rotfl: Better move all the jams, etc, though, don’t want Hubert eating them all, you know what happens then, and definitely keep him away from the raspberries. Looking forward to a turn on that telescope.:rotfl:
Probably just as well all the brownies will be gone by the weekend, I know jinty said she wanted some compost but there’s probably a limit as to how much she wants;)
jintyb: glad you enjoyed the show last night. Well done on getting your ironing done and hope you enjoy your TV programmes. Lovely news about the baby girl, hope your neighbours like the presents:T
ifwishes: increasing your target to 15 now, good luck with getting there, the little penguin is waiting for you:D
Tamrin: oh dear to a spendy day:(, fingers crossed for tomorrow
nzseries1: gulp:eek:.... those chocolates are a bit pricey for an NSD challenge - are they covered with gold leaf?
CatherineMM: oh dear, sorry to hear about your kids:(:( - you rant away if you need to, we’ll always listen
Nargle: glad you had a good holiday and some decent weather. :TSorry about all the expense since you got back and eek to all the catering over the next few days - you definitely will need another holiday by the end of that;)
webitha: oh dear to your family wanting to eat all the time:( - don’t they know you’re on an NSD challenge and they need to stop occasionally to give you a chance? :rotfl: Keep going, you can get your last one
kerri gt: small spendy days aren’t too bad and doughnuts are definitely an essential in this sort of weather:D. Happy shopping for the birthday present tomorrow, that’s the sort of present I love to get, lots of bits
skaps: oh dear to OH and the burger:(, you earn it, he spends it...
cw18: more brilliant whoopsies today, making me hungry reading that list:D
Still on no 18 here, had to pay my credit card bill today and pay for another couple of things, but will definitely be no 19 tomorrow.
Off to do the usual update now, see you all tomorrow (and I will be in a better mood, definitely:D).
‘night everyone

Good morning all,
reporting # 12 for yesterday, I'm getting there!
Didnt go out yesterday, enjoyed my chill day!
Today I'm meeting my pal for lunch in town, so it wont br a NSD today. Really looking forward to seeing her, we always have a right old natter! I'm thinking I might go in to town early and have a walk around first. Edinburgh is buzzing ATM with the Festival being on and it's nice to soak up the atmosphere.
Have a lovely day everyone, and (((hugs))) to those that need one:)

Looks like DH is taking the big telescope, but he is leaving us the small one...probably best, will give us all more room in the Obsy!
Right, have already spent today (!)...had planned on an NSD, but had to pay for DS2's bus pass for College (£192 per term :eek:!) Only paying for first term, as want to see just how much he uses it (a College mini-bus). He may need to get to college earlier or stay later...we'll see how it goes. Getting to college via public transport is rather complicated, taking two or three buses, depending which way he goes. Then there is always the taxi of Mum or Dad!!
Off to see what other spending I can do today so I can have NSDs the next couple of days.
Have a good day everyone.

Sunnylooloo - Pay day for me too tomorrow, cannot wait! I'm not sure the NSD challenge has made me spend any less but has made me think more about what I'm spending on.
just paid all my bills, will get disel on way home (Sainsburys voucher too!) Gosh it has been a long time coming this month. Do you know what is quite irritating.... i had a £75 spend at the vets this month and if I never had that I would have had £75 to add to my holiday fund!!! I really thought I was struggling this month esp after that vet bill (and Mr Looloo's birthday and time off with the little Loos) I can't believe that I managed (back in the old days I would see credit cards and o/d being used!) It just goes to show that I CAN do this.
Thanks to Spoon and everyone on this thread for their great support - so glad I joined - it is really helping me.
I think I will up my target Spoon (as i have a panda :T:Twoo woo) to 12 I think I can manage that!!

morning and thank you for all of the virtual hugs, they were very comforting and I still haven't strangled my secretary, which is a bonus I suppose, but just for her.
Better weather this morning but distinctly autumnal, bright and a bit chilly, is it just me or does the light change at this time of year???
Didn't manage one yesterday as needed liquid gold and succumbed to a bottle of expensive water. But never spent anything else so not too bad I suppose.
May be one to-day, will try hard, a bit of redistribution of hugs to those who need them, nearly there but not quite yet.More than Two Years in

Morning chris,
It's working for me - another chunk off my overdraft this month - one of the reasons I do this challenge:D (apart from the lovely people on here, of course:D)
Hi everyone
Sorry about the downer yesterday, feeling more like my normal self again today so hopefully normal service will be resumed. If anyone has any spare sunshine I could do with some:)
((((hugs)))) to anyone needing one
Back later

Morning Guy's!!!!
Hope everyone is okay, Reporting yesterday as a NSD, only groceries, but they are in budget, so don't count as a spend. Sent DH and DD shopping with a list and copy of the meal plan for the week, Drummed it into them that the budget is no more than £75 and they were under no circumstances to go over. As DH nearly always spends a small fortune. Well i set them a small extra challange, as i knew we would have to get fresh bread later in the week as we have visitors for the bank holiday!! I said see if you can spend as close to £50 as poss. Knowing full well they wouldn't manage it.
Well they proved me wrong, they popped into F***foods and L**L on the way to Mr T's to get the things that would be on offer!!!
Well they spend £56 and also got a few extra items that were reduced to go in the freezer for next week!!! Im Gobsmaked!!!!
He finally Get's it!!!!
Right im off the the shower!!! DS has guitar lesson and then start some training tonight for a community project!!!
So ill try to catch up later.........
Love to all................................
