  • Hello everyone, happy Monday! And happy birthday Cheapskate hope you have a fab day x x

Well I did manage NSD yesterday, got changed into my PJs as soon as got back from in-laws so I wouldnt be tempted to nip out to shop to satisfy my post-drink choc cravings :rotfl: Once I have my pjs on I never wanna get dressed, would live in mine if I could. :D The things I will do for a NSD. :p

Today is one also, I'm about to jump on my cross trainer for a workout, then jumping in bath and then (yep you've guessed it) back in my PJs again. Will be so knackered afterwards I won't wanna move off sofa.

Hope you all have a lovely evening! x

No NSD for me unfortunately as I had food shopping to do :(
Tomorrow won't be a NSD either (pooch booked into vets for overdue booster jabs) so Wednesday has got to be a NSD for me.

    Hi Kathy!

Hmmm, I'm not sure what to do. I have become super organised for my shopping in the past 3 months so I know exactly how much I will spend each week so that's not the problem, but I might now consider withdrawing the shopping money out for the whole month (hubby gives his half) and then - in truly OS Money Saving style - I will out the money in a wee jar in the kitchen and take the shopping money out on the days I go shopping. I work with cash anyway, for all my other weekly spends (I have found this really helpful) so that was my logic....hmmmm, not sure!

I think I might also try your idea of leaving my purse at home...

    Jo :)

I dont count my main grocery shop, but if i have to pop to a little shop because of my unorganisation or something i always count that!!!
Im not financially savvy as im still learning but i love to support anyone that needs it and give virual hug's and tea!!!

    Happy August everyone!

Thanks very much for the thread Spoon, I would like to be put down for 11. Just scraped 10 in July, so I'm thinking small steps are good. :j

Also, thank you very much for my dancing kitty in July! Was running round for my conference so didn't even get to appreciate her very much. Hopefully will get an equally nice treat this month.

No NSD today, as I had to get all the things for work I didn't get when I was away (and the other half forgot). But aiming for one tomorrow and Thursday.

Will drop in and say hello! :hello:
