Well, yesterday was a spend day. We are moving house on Friday, so no big shop this week. Had to just get some odd little bits to get us through the week and spent about £4 something.
Thought today was going to be a spend day as needed a new exhaust mount for my car (apparently!) but took it to the garage and they replaced it for free! AMAZING!
So, today is NSD 1 for me!Finally, debt free for the first time since I was 18!:DFirst baby born: 21/05/2014Second baby born: 04/03/20170 -
Not a NSD for me today, I needed some bits and pieces for hols, OH wanted new joggers and as a treat for dragging my 12 year old around town, I took him to Subway for lunch.....yum yum. Hopefully I won't need to go out now for a while unless anything unexpected crops up, fingers crossed.***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0

Hi Spoon
Can you put me down for 8 NSDs
My word its only the second and I'm already behind with the July thread (haven't read the buck house episode) and now I have 100 to read for the August Thread... That'll teach me for having a heavy weekend, OH did look decidedly ropey on Sunday, neither one of us can take our drink anymore!:D
This week is looking like a bit of a non-starter, sunday needed sugary drinks and crisps to get me over the worst of it, today is a spendy day as needed food for lunch and I was in early so treated myself to a bought lunch, I know really bad! I am going to have to buy my bus ticket tomorrow and baccy. Thinking about it I need to check when my DDs come out this week as then I can plan around that. All that being said I should probably get two this week... I will keep posting...
Can I book my seat on the tardis for the back ally trip, I don't think my broomstick wants to co-operate!

Meeeeeeeeee me me me me me...
Would be churlish not to bring champagne and stawberries too eh!I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

Quick question, everyone....I am thinking this month of spearating my grocery money out from my spending money - is this cheating?
I would say if it helps get genuine NSD's then it's not cheating it's good technique. I'm sure we've all got our little ways to make sure we do not spend, if two wallets works for you then great.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.

Hi all,
yesterday the first day of the month is my NSD Number 1, yipee!!!!!
Today was a big spend day with a supermarket shop, tried my best too keep it as low as poss but the cupboards were looking quite bare before we went so hopefully we can make it last as long as poss. We went to the play area at the nearest big park on the way to the supermarket and DS had a fab time on the swings etc and feeding the ducks, all free of course.
He is having a nap now so I'm going to get on with making his spag bol portions and fish pies in ramekins for the freezer.Total Debt May 10 = £580920 -
Right well yesterday wasn't an NSD
Nor will today be (got to treat boyfriend to a cream tea in response to many good turns)
Tomorrow's not looking appealing.
Nor is Wednesday.
Or Thursday for that matter.
And Friday I've got DD's.
Maybe I'm just getting lazy, surely I ought to be able to squeeze an NSD out of this week somewhere.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.

Can I join again? I will go for 12 this time. I wont count dds and regular outgoings just everytime I physically spend/buy with real money or plastic. It will be difficult as I cant often get out of house due to ill health of partner, so sometimes an nsday is lost because I have the opportunity to get out so I try to get as much done in that precious hour as poss. Other days will be nsds because I cant get out..... swings and roundabouts I suppose. Ok, so yesterday was nsd 10
