Number 8 for me today - over halfway yippee!! Nearly ruined it twice tho - hot sausage roll this morning at work (just couldn't resist) but earned quite a bit on surveys this morning so think I can justify it. Then decided to tackle the washing mountain after work, to find we'd run out of washing powder. Was just about to head to the shop when I remembered my stash of free samples at the back of the cupboard - I told DH they'd come in handy one day! Now on the fourth load of washing with the fourth different sample, couldn't resist smelling the washing as I hung it on the line to see if I could tell the difference, but I got busted by DH and he now thinks I'm madTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0

Awww i've really missed you all this weekend during the 13 hours a day DIY marathon with my dad  & i'm glad to be back!!!
Unfortunately no NSD's to report, in fact i have to confess that my spending has hit 4 figures the last few days :eek::eek:
However that was paying for the fence, the plasterer & the kitchen which will arrive in 3 weeks time :j:j:j
I'm on the last leg now & can start to feel the relief, only 1 more door to remove & then a painting marathon!!!
(& don't even ask me about the blown fuse disaster that involved me sitting up till 1.30am this morning waiting for the emergency man to come!!!!)
Oh well, back on track now & definitely aiming for no spends tomorrow, well done everyone for doing so well & ((((hugs Kathy))))

Yesterday was my no. 9 nsd but today has been a spendy one. Needed fruit, veg, milk, bread and oil, buy tomorrow, hopefully will have me getting into double figures Did a beef casserole in the slow cooker with all the bits of fridge bottom and abit of stew beef, added alittle red wine and it was so successful DD and DH and painter paul had seconds so my idea of using leftover as a pie base for tomorrow came unstuck ah well

:hello: everyone.
Managed to get DD's bits for her holiday. DH was nearly in tears tonight. It's the first time he's been away from her for more than 4 days and he's missing her already (She doesn't go till Thursday!) He knows Mum&Dad will be fine with her but it's the first time she's been on a plane and I think he wanted to do that with her!
Anyway, as I missed a song the other night I thought I would treat you to this one........
"Spendy spendy night.........Got toothpaste (it's white not grey),(see what I did there?)
Look out the nail varnish is on special today,
With bronzer to give that golden glow,
(Eye)Shadows, travel sickness pills,
This flannel's the colour of daffodils(sorry, mind went blank!),
Catch that pound that I dropped at the till,
This B00ts is a spendy spendy land."
With many, many apologies to Don Maclean and great reeeeeespect (Clicks fingers in Ali-G sort of way) to Vincent Van Gogh
 Can't go back to the day job yet - my shifts don't start back till 8th Sept..........:rotfl:Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

I've had to look back to the first page to see when I last posted, which must have been Thursday 'cause I am on 8 there. Unusual for me, as I normaly post every night or only miss the odd night. I even missed the Balloon Outing which I was looking forward to so much, given my vast experience with balloons (a.k.a. Brighton!!!) though I have seen that you all had a great time. Time is a great healer Spoon - nasty wound that - hope you don't scar too much
So now I've eventually caught up, I can report my NSD's .......... Saturday was NSD NUMBER 9, Sunday was a normal spend day at car boot, Monday was NSD NUMBER 10 and today is NSD NUMBER 11 - and Wednesday and Thursday are still looking good for NSD's too :j :j
There's lots of people doing well this month but a few are having trouble - just do your best everyone - every NSD counts no matter how many or how few you get
Right, off to update my sig now - will be back to report tomorrow night
When's the next outing Spoony? I don't want to miss another oneMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Declaring today as NSD #9 :T
Just totted up last nights spends..... actually £7 to come off my GC budget, of which £4.90 was on Whoopsies that would have cost £16.97 at non-Whoopsie pricesCheryl0
