This place is about teh same size, in the area where I grew up. It costs a little bit more, though (-:

Yes, but in the OP's area, the average wage is about £18k and the whole area has been deemed an area of poverty, more poor than all those poor countries that last joined Europe... so it was getting objective one funding, to bring it just a little higher, but still poor.

There are some right rich kn0bs where you live :)

Having said that .... those right rich kn0bs like to buy down here too. I take your 5-bedroom £1.6million house ... and show you:
    1. a 5 bed flat with one parking space for £1.35million http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/new-homes/property-23928628.html
    2. a 4 bed house for £1.6million http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-26779826.html

Thanks for all the replies (well mostly lol! am I being stalked by a an ex Cornish libation front member lol!?!)
I think perhaps I may disregard some of the comments as I have lived in this house for a while and have yet to come across any druggies hanging out the back! very silly. my eight year old and her friends cycle around the back and the people in the flats all seem really nice and have made changes to the outside lately it looks lovely and they are all nice and stay hello etc. in fact they made extra scones one day and gave us some how nice is that! All our neighbors are nice and we all know each other its very friendly. (I don't think they're high?!)

I think need new photos and yes a court yard is usual in this type of house in Cornwall and lots of other places to. ( i need more pics again because the court yard is very nice)

Not its not magnolia but it is neutral not huge pink flowers on wallpaper, no orange 70's carpet etc just a dash of colour every now and then I am good at that don't worry. and that is irrelevant if ones actually seeing it at the mo that's my problem.

I like the 5 bed idea that's good I will take that on board thanks

I really don't think its the price I have told them I would drop again but i think its a little early yet

And sea views I have the same! right I'm getting photos of that on too, I know it sounds stupid but until someone points it out its easy to forget.

Hmm... and the parking we have single yellows outside our house except on the corner this means seasonal parking and there is parking on all the side streets in season we also have a garage and enough parking to park a average size car in front of the garage. I will bug them about that too.

A huge thankyou too you all its been really useful.

Don't worry Bristol pilot, its not the bad picture pastures new paints, I'm a surfer so is my other half we never wee the bed :) and really don't have anything to say about brownbake comment except maybe what? please don't post if its not useful at all.

I don't live there - I grew up there (my parents and brother live close by, still). It's a nice part of London.
