Hey missy, finally caught up - loved the chicky tales and congratulations on your new job! Have read various things about Memorygirls thread, but it seems to complicated to me, haven't read her previous threads though, should I? I am currently reading The Secret, so that's a start!

Memorygirl has put a brief summary of her story in the first post of the new Memorygirl Matrix thread so read that. Then click on her username which will link you to the blog and all the challenges are listed there. That much should get you up to speed on what's happening but it is very interesting reading if you have the time.

@Missy try the Old Style board on here for help with the food bills.

thanks mags I will, going to have to set myself some ground rules too, like no sneaky bottles of wine whilst OH is away and no pigging out on chocolate either as all these little purchases once a week all add up!

I do a fortnightly shop as I dont have room to store dog food and bulk stuff, but it seems to be working so far.

Have you left the other job already?

yes hun, i was poorly last week and they wouldnt have let me have the time off and leave, and they were the sort of people that would have just given you every crap job they could think of just to get it done.... really couldn't be dealing with it, oh and that they new job said it would be starting asap, but because I have to be CRB checked it's taking longer than I thought, nevermind atleast I am getting housey things done.

just had lovely pasta with tomato pesto yum yum, ooooh jamie oliver is on but I have missed half of it so I will watch it at 6.30 after come dine with me :)

omg I got another star, when did that happen!!! Yaaaaay me!!!! lol, yes I know, little things and little minds etc. Didnt end up watching jamie as I went out to see the chick chicks and let them out and they were hilarious, one of them couldn't work out why it could see the others but couldn't get to them, couldn't figure out there was a door way to the side of it but to the front was wire mesh. I shouldn't laugh but was highly amusing!!

Had an email from the school today and am going to go up there tomorrow to find out my job spec a bit more etc etc.

just made myself a yummy hot chocolate and am now going to go though my mealplanning stuff, I love doing this! Although it's a bit trickier when I have such a tight budget. Didn't know I could check for deals on line at aldi etc! That should make a little difference atleast.
  • Hey Missymoo! well done on your extra star :D Glad your getting things done around the house and well done on the shopping budget, that is something me and OH are rubbish at doing, we just swan round the supermarket chucking whatever we fancy into the trolley - woops! xxxx

lol MT thats what me and OH are usually like, but I really don't have a choice now, we literally have £100 and that's it, which is pretty scary, but I have a pretty good stock at the moment, which is always nice to see.
