Took me weeks to get through MGs last diary- just got to the end and the new one started!

I vouch for buying in charity shops. I'm trying to buy large stuff there and then reuse material!

hmmmm have had a lovely time at the school today, will write more about that later.

Am a bit perturbed am really struggling for money to pay my loan off by the end of November, well I just want it paid by Christmas really. Literally have to find £500 from somewhere, and I haven't even thought about christmas, I have to have the loan paid of then as I just can't afford to not really.

B*gger B*gger just when I thought I had it all under control, things are going to be more than a little bit tricky between now and christmas!! To say the least!

Did you find out about your wages Missy? Was this your first day at work, or just a kind of introductory thing? Want to hear all about it! :j

Morning sweetie, bah to the other job, how did you get on yesterday - did you find out the wage? Don't worry about Xmas, I'm sure people will understand if you just do little bits like bake Xmas Cupcakes.

Don't try to concentrate on the £500 total, break it down. Can DH help you clear it and then "pay him back" as you make money off the cupcakes, ebay etc?

Coughs and colds here, laptop died again (HP watch out) , TV died but Samsung coming tomorrow to repair for free, work manic due to funding changing end dates and I'm b#ggered if I'm going to work and travel at my expense.

Just wish I could get decluttering more, bits and pieces being done but doesnt seem to make a difference :o.

Hello my lovelies, thank you for the lovely posts, I got a bit caught up yesterday trying to work out budgets etc so didn't get chance to post about my job.

I had a lovely time at the school yesterday, and my CRB check was put through on line which should be through after half term, so I am going to go in on Friday just to see what everything is about, then tues, weds, thurs of next week to try and see what I'm doing then start properly after half term. Theres me and 2 other teaching assistants, and there are 12 students all varying levels of low ability some with a few special needs but no disabilities.

Everyone was really lovely and I'm really looking forward to starting. I forgot to find out about my wages but I have just sent her an email asking.

Well I have had quite a productive morning, I have cleaned out the chickens top and bottom which I really didn't want to do, nor was I going to but I found the enthusiasm from somewhere.

Going to spend the morning writing shopping lists then I'm off out after lunch (which is v MSE of me as I would usually go out and buy lunch) to go and see my mum, am hoping to take some bits back and get a credit note, of which I can spend on little bits for Christmas.

My budget it just so tight, I still don't know quite how I'm going to cope with it but fingers crossed.

    Sounds great at the school.

Well done on the motivation and this afternoons trip sounds perfect.

I did get moving, I hung 2 carrier bags up in the bedroom and have put items that can be recycled in one and dustman bits in the other. Both are over half full in just 15 mins, room doesn't look any different, but it will make a difference in the long run :T
