oh and I can spend forever looking for stuff on ebay, just not when listing, the site crashed in the end anyway so I only managed to list 10 things.:o
I havent actually been to a tutorial yet to be honest mags, its just that whenever i go on a forum i feel really stupid, everyone is super intelligent so i just assume the tutorials will be the same, and a lot of it is because im really lazy and cant be bothered to drive across the city in peak time traffic...... I know it's definitely not the best attitude to have, need to work on that
Missy I felt like that about my tutorials too, when I actually got up the enthusiasm to go on one of my rare weekends off work (blinkin things coincided so I had no excuse) I found that the 'super clever' folks were actually even more insecure than I was about the work and I was one of the more vocal people in the room when it came to discussing things with the tutor.:oIt’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I'm back!
Missy, I just said to OH that I don't age nicely and that I should give up my work to look after myself:D. I would rather not write down his response:D.
Hope ebaying went well, I have a huge bag of clothes to put on but can't find motivation and time.missymoo81 wrote: »I havent actually been to a tutorial yet to be honest mags, its just that whenever i go on a forum i feel really stupid, everyone is super intelligent so i just assume the tutorials will be the same, and a lot of it is because im really lazy and cant be bothered to drive across the city in peak time traffic...... I find tutorials very helpful, it makes the assignment clearer. I found the forums very helpful too, I do contribute but I am not the one who talks the most:). My position is very unique on this and the previous course as out of 4000 people there were only 20ish of us with the same profession and it helped for us to understand the study material better- we don't use EYFS, etc but need to know everything about it. But if you can manage (and you can) without it than that's it, don't even worry about going for tutorials.
Oh, almost forget: CONGRATULATIONS!!! on getting a new job!0 -
hey scuba thanks for the advice, I might go next time.....
Hey Kavics lovely I wondered when you were back. Did you have a lovely time?
Right well I didn't wake up until 0900 which is reallllly late for me, but fortunately I woke up with the cleaning/decluttering bug so that is what I am doin. Already decluttered OH's underwear drawer, I'm not sure he'll be too pleased, that it has gone down to a 3rd of what it was as to me the other stuff was just euuuuugghhhhh!!!
Right cuppa then I must get back on it.0 -
Anyone care to join me on my declutterathon??0

About the personal trainers and botox, etc--so true but we can do lots of the exercise, healthy eating, etc without a personal trainer. I recall reading somewhere that even a lotto winner can't pay someone to loose weight for them:D I'm assuming you don't need to loose weight anyway, weren't you in the military until recently? Fitness is implied in a job description like that so it's probably more self esteem and confidence issues you need to work on:)
Instead of "I only listed 10 things on ebay:(" it should be "I listed 10 things on ebay:T" and it's not a diet it's a healthy eating plan:)
Perhaps you could fit the tutorial around some other reason for going out so that the long drive isn't just for the tutorial. Cheery posted a link to a blog on her thread about a week ago. There was an article called "belonging" which was basically about feeling stupid when you are trying to fit in somewhere new amongst people who do know what they're doing. You need to read it.

hey mags, thank you so much for the inspiring post!. you are so right.... (how did you get to be so wise?)
Yes am reasonably fit and slimish but can still do with losing a little weight and self esteem has always been a bit of an issue. I will pop over to daffys blog and have a little look.
And I should be proud with listing on ebay, its more than I got done last weekend, so :T me.
I definitely need to adopt a positive attitude and the rest should follow.;)
Thank you so much, you have truely brightened up my day :T

Me wise:rotfl:that's made my day:) I'm not really but I've been trying to absorb positive thinking from the Memorygirl matrix, the Secret, other people on here.....finding it just as hard as everyone else to apply it all to my own life but I'm working on it.
And you sound like another one who wants to look like Danii Minogue;)Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
