Just home from my day out, feeling horrendously grumpy, feel hugely old, fat, unfashionable, and all the other horrid things, went to my sisters and she was there and her two friends who are 21 who are skinny and naturally gorgeous, who all have the latest clothes and lovely just done nails and brand new cars, and I just felt utterly horrible.

Feel an awful frump and not having any money is worrying me grately. Think I'm going to go to bed and pull the covers over my head.:(

Oh missy (((((((((((missy)))))))))))) You are NOT a frump at all! I am absolutely sure that your beauty is natural and has no need of painted nails, new clothes and fast cars. Once you get past 21 (and you're not *that* far past 21!) being beautiful becomes about different things than fancy nails and posh frocks. You make sure you do something lovely for yourself this evening, a nice bubble bath, a daft film, a cheery book, or paint your nails if you really fancy it, and see if you can spend some time this week with people who aren't 21 and naturally beautiful! (like us, for example :o :rotfl:)

(I do know what you mean though! poor you) :( xx

Bleurgh indeed! Hot chocolate and an early night with a hot water bottle is my advice, especially with that nasty early start! Hope you've got your stuff all packed and ready for the morning - probably worth doing that tonight if not, will make the morning so much easier!

Just eaten rhubarb crumble and custard myself :D (although not very good for not feeling podgy, oops! :o) and about to get into a nice bath with a book :D:D Hope you're feeling better tomorrow chick, hold tight and ride through it, you'll be out the other side soon enough (I know it doesn't feel like it!) xxx

well I am back from my MRI scan, very glad that is over with, am knackered though from being in the car so long, but I had a good long chance to think and was listening to a few of my albums whilst driving, and there's a song I was listening to that just really made me think. It was a song all about the small things we take for granted and the simple things in life etc, made me feel bad for whinging yesterday, so I have decided to embrace my new budget, I have worked it out so that I can save some money, still live and still keep sane! Of course it will be very tight but I can do it.:D

Am looking into biking to work but its 15 miles each way :eek:so pretty hefty, and I'm not sure I can use the showers being a school so really not sure, but I can look into it.

Going to steal moneytroubles idea and keep a money book, I have a lovely book perfect for it, that way I can keep track of ins and outs. going to have a jar too for left over money if there is any lol:rotfl:

Am off to make some soup yum yum, not sure what though yet x

Hey lovely, I do a spending diary and write down EVERYTHING and it has really helped me. Hope you are feeling less frumpy today!
